Why would it be bad karma?

The binLaden family and construction company are highly regarded.

One out of many, many, many children was a bad apple and probably never flew on that plane.

Yes it does look like a very nice jet, which is why I was semi-interested in it. However, there are a lot of people who might have some unsettled feelings about buying something once owned by the Bin Ladens. It's not for nothing that Carlyle gave the Bin Ladens their money back.

It's easy to buy. Not as easy to sell...

I don't think anyone will care. Now, if you want karma, the Hawker that was hit by a missile is still around...

    This is the basic story:

Incidentally, I thought that airplane was in Seattle, but apparently it's been sold.

The legend is that BAE was willing to give the Botswanan government a new airplane in trade, but the President decided that this one was good luck, and requested that it be repaired and returned to them.

    All,

I had a PM asking if this plane is still available. After it dropped off ebay, I have no idea whether it sold. Does anyone know what became of it?

Here's, however, a .pdf listing with contact numbers...

At least, I think this is the AC.

    Thanks,
