458 looks great in both colors. I have the fully electric standard seats but next time, I'd do the racing seats. Daytonas, IMHO, look out of place and style in the elegant 458 design.

Golden rule: Never buy a Ferrari in red.

Honestly, just go with your heart.

I selected red. I'll pick red next time.

But, that's just me. The beauty of ordering your own car is that YOU get to decide what you like best.

Something like 70% of all 458's are in red, black and yellow. So, if you want to be different, pick something other than these three.

Whatever you pick, be happy with it.

My advice is to postpone a decision as long as you can and to monitor your personal 'internal vision' of yourself in your car and what color it is. Then you will know where your heart is.

Either way, it will be beautiful.

Bob. Nice plates for a nicer car! Red, white black, silver...seriously, you can't go wrong and I can tell you I went back and forth between colors inside and out for months. It's part of the fun in customizing the car. You should see the colors in person on 458's before deciding, IMO.

I saw one in the dealership in Rosso Fuoco and it was amazing. You can't tell what it looks like in photos.

I agree seeing them for yourselves really helps make up your mind.

I ordered white so I want you to get anything other than that so it will make my car more rare! Somebody posted here a while back who was at the factory and stated that there were quite a few 458s coming off the line in white. Bianco Fuji (or Italia now as they are trying to phase out the oil based Fuji) really looks stunning if you're willing to pony up the additional $$ over Bianco Avus (which I got). Nero and Titanio look great as well. Rcktrod's car looks beautiful. I have seen a Nero 458 in person, and it is indeed fantastic, IMO. Bob, your car looks great and I think it looks better WITHOUT the rear CF grill.

BTW, my car was painted last Friday!

See, if you'd have spoken to me first you wouldn't have made the mistake of buying such a beautiful car! :)

I would also order non-red. Particularly not Rosso Corsa, as I like some other reds a lot, such as Fuoco, Fiorano, Rubino. Then Titanio and other medium to dark greys, medium to very light metallic blues, those would be my favorites if I had to order.

And if I was to buy a used car, I wouldn't mind my 458 to be green, Vinaccia or Avorio, to mention some of the least popular colours.

Definitely would get away from the classic red and yellow.

If it's your first Ferrari, go red! Otherwise go for a different one, 458 looks really good in white!

It makes no difference what color you get as long as you enjoy it, unless you are trying to figure out resale. If thec ar is bought for you and not the next person, do what you can afford and enjoy and you will be happy. I have owned a Narc Blue and Tan which was unusual and Silverstone and Cuio which some thought was "classy". I have just ordered a 458 White with Black Top which seems a bit "edgy". Go with what you feel like now and next time do the same thing. Enjoy ------Best

All personal, I have had Argento, Nero Daytona and Rosso corsa. Just about to pick up another Rosso corsa. Why? Because I personally love it. On 458 I went through so many different phases of what I thought I wanted and came back to Rosso. Don't think they are common because as soon as you take yours away from a dealer you don't see too many! However go through this forum and try and find a bad one! Enjoy the trip!

when i was at the dealer ordering mine i was stuck between gregorio grey (not wanting to be too flashy) or the rosso corso red. when i saw the two colors side by side i thought the gregorio just got lost compared to the rosso. it's my first ferrari so i figured why not go the traditional ferrari red. you'll get noticed in any color, for better of for worse, so you might as well love it. for me it's rosso all day.

A white 458 Italia will be beautiful, easy to keep clean and easy to see at night.

We have a white Subaru, a silver Subaru, a platinum silver Porsche Boxster S.

And a Rosso Corsa 360 F1 Spider. There is something about driving a red Ferrari that really invokes passion. Hard to explain but looking out over a red Ferrari sports car is a fulfillment of a dream. Every time I think about another color, I always come back to Rosso Corsa.

What's your dream? You should have no regrets no matter what color you choose!

May the horse be with you.

    White with red interior.

Or bicolor red/black. Dark wheels and yellow calipers. Perfect combo imo.

Ferrari invented the Red car. It's part of their Formula 1 heritage, that you honor when you purchase it in Red.
