Was it a white LP640? I'd heard that there was a LP640 that was involved in quite a major accident, but no such news of it burning up... Btw; on the subject of Lamborghini, not sure if any Bull owners here have heard of Lambo KL's adoption programme? http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/automotive-news/397409-lamborghini-kuala-lumpur-grey-is-the-new-black.html
Hi , I am a belgian MM2H expat who shipped my F360 spider onto Malaysia. the car is due to arrive begin of februar & I am looking for an insurance cy. Looks like not all companies are keen to cover Ferrari cars... any recommandations? looking forwards for happy F motoring in beautiful Malasia . Stephaan
Heh heh was thinking the same thing.... I kinda like the letters WTF on Malaysian number plates Speaking of number plates do you guys know if there is a selangor Bugatti Veyron with number plate BN997? Thanks guys happy new year
Hello Stephaan, Welcome aboard You'll need to approach bigger car firms & let them run the insurance for you. The proper insurance companies don't like to insure strangers so they might interview you. This country operates with "runner/agents" & they charge a fee to take care of loose or tight ends for you You can swing by Ital Naza along the Fed highway near Shah Alam, the agent for Ferrari should know who to recommend, if not you can buzz me. Jon
It was covered but you can see the wheels, could be that one recently. Anyway, with regards to adoptions, agents here have no choice but to do this as they are losing sales to grey-imports who hit them hard with low prices but over in Singapore, the agents charge a huge 5 figure sum or outright refusal to maintain the exotics. That's pretty fast
Hi Mi, I saw a picture of it. Brunei also have the BN number plate but NOT registered to a Veyron so was wondering if it is a Selangor car? Any ideas?
Hi , thnx for your welcome & useful advise. Terence Chee from Naza Italia will come back with some recommendations shortly. Hope this will work .I also importing a Cagiva/Ducati bike, guess can have it insured by same company. grtz, Stephaan
Oh boy you have some cool toys Some of my friends do the mountains or occasional Sepang on weekends, you can have some buddies here. Btw, do they have concession for tax free bikes too?
You won't go wrong with Terrence, from what I've heard. That, and our roads do not have enough 360s around, much less a 360 spider! Welcome!

ahaha....well you were one of the most active ppl a few years back.....so as the thread continued, i was like why has it died off? iam2cute, do u still have ure ride? well i was in the market looking for a 355 so needed some input from the local guys...i'v been reading about the manifold and valve guide stories from the rest of the world....how common has it been here? ps: the singapore thread is so much more live and kicking? is it because they hv less roads and can't ride their machines more hence resort to the virtual world...ahahaha?
Guys, how does the G1M plate works. Meaning if I buy my car in Langkawi (and I find a buyer that is willing to sell the G1M plate). I can drive to the mainland and pay only the Langkawi car price? What's the catch? Just need to be in Langkawi for 3 months every year? That's all?
I think you can be on mainland 3 months a year. The rest of the time it has to be in Langkawi. Then again, i stand corrected.
