It will be interesting to see how the New Ferrari's do.
Assuming the new car holds together I suspect they'll run strong. Risi has their usual strong driver line up and has to be one of the favorites. Too bad your car isn't allowed to run.

I think the 458s will be strong, it's ferrari's first real effort into Grand Am. And the 997 is at the end of its life cycle, but there is safety in numbers
That was not the impression I recieved from reply #78 towards reply #77 but then again Jim did not reply too my initial question. If memory serves me Jim mentioned way back when that P4/5C did not conform too the regs for the series so you can hopefully see my confusion?
I'm looking forward to the 24h since it's the first major event of the year and I'm going through withdrawls, but I'd be foaming at the mouth if the P 4/5C was going to be racing. It's a shame the organizers don't want to draw extra attention to the event. Mark
what's sad is they don't let P4/5 run despite being based on a Scud (which should make it eligible), but at the same time the Mazda RX8 was basically a tube frame silhouette car and it was legal.
Looking forward to the race. I can either go to the in-laws house to watch it on Speed or hope for a feed on justin.tv
how much is SPEED covering? or is there an important Truck series press conference they'll have to cover?
Decent coverage this year, about 8 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Sunday I believe. I'm sure there will be some NasTruck footage in between. Hopefully next year I can fly out and be there in person.
I'm Flying tomorrow to Daytona for the race weekend. Will try to post photos (from the Blackberry) during the weekend!

similar mix of Rileys/Corvettes in DP. JC France is in the field; I guess he passed the "pee in a cup" test?
The action on and off the track was crazy and it's only Thursday! Here's a few pics from today.
