I think you are correct..it is a matter of time..most commonly when something else comes into play that peaks my intrest more and its time to enjoy another toy..

I suddenly remembered that I pictured a yellow LP 400 many years ago at the Concours d'Elegance in Düsseldorf, Germany, in May 1998. I found and scanned them. I did not notice it then, but I now see on these pictures that it was a very special car ;-)

Correct Joe, it is #1120002, with the Bertone badge on the sill under the doorline instaed of above. Recently surfaced in Germany again, so it looks like it is probably German owned. Ciao! Marcello

with countach the general rule is buy the best you can locate!

 

I run home from work everyday thinking this is the day that I am going to find it, but so far, leads have been few and far between. I know that I will get one with in the month……I am now determined!

 

I know the feeling, it's a fun but sometimes frustrating search. Any particular version that your interested in? Roy had a QV & a 89, and a 5000s off of Rainman. Bobilef had a dd. I'm sure Joe S has some as well. Get one before they leave US (2 just recently left)!

 

I hate to comment on any at this time. No secrets around here and lots of vultures.

 

I'm hoping you get one, it will be nice to have another one in town.

i personally like the black tan 5000S in Roy's site

i would look seriously into it Jason
i know there are some cheaper QVs FI.... but the carbed 5000S has the right color combo, euro look, is a rare car....and not tamed for the US market

it also will be a better investment in the long run (imo)
