Thanks for the thoughts. GT3 RS is one of most fun cars I've ever owned with proper manual gearbox. This really is pretty tough to decide. Been going back and forth for months now. Will definitely keep you updated, Doug. Thanks. Hahaha.... You found me here!
Ok, that's good. Darn good pricing on the 2 yr service down there! Scud is fantastic, especially in torque/power and steering but not as raw as CS. I've driven couple different Scuds and 16M and many CS's and CS is most raw. Ok, I've driven an F40 and now THAT is raw! You're STILL tire kicking?? I mean shopping. LOL! +1 There's another Fchatter who has owned two Strads and is looking to trade his green GT3 RS for a red striped CS.
If anyone has a sub-5k mile factory stripe CS for sale, give me a ring! I have two customers ready to purchase. The obsession with low mile examples continues.....
The original wheels have been put back on. Also the sales person said the stereo has been removed. I'm not sure about the lowering of the car.
I have decided not to sell my CS, just couldn't do it. I was ready to bring it to the FoS who had a client waiting, but backed out. I was the one who was thinking the Viper ACR was in my future. I changed my mind for one reason - 458 Italia. I want one and figure the CS would make a better springboard to that end than a ACR. What I meant by saying the CS is not fast is this. Take it into any corner with your heart in your throat before even thinking about braking, slow and scrub the fronts and dive for the apex, get on the gas hard and it is VERY fun. The problem is that I don't make it to the track much and when starting off from a light or in traffic, the thing isn't that fast, period. Even on the street it is fun going into corners, but coming out there is no involvement from said driver. Shifting can make a civic feel "fun" and faster than it is. With the F1 it's kind of like just sitting there and listen to the sound, but really acceleration isn't all that great or involving. That was my point.
For the feel of thrust...get a turbo S PDK or a Nissan GTR... High revving CS is not built for that purpose for sure...of course it does do a 12 flat quarter, so if you really want straight line, it goes. BTW, a scud is torquier too...finally, have you driven the 458? I ask because I have (and on a track) and decided I would rather go to a scud after the CS than to a 458 because its so isolated (unless in race mode and *seriously* hauling ass - then its alive...but those speeds are crazy on the street).
Sure it's fine so long as holes weren't drilled for boom box and springs weren't cut, which I doubt as springs are adjustable on CS. Not a big deal if all can be restored to stock. He wants launch color combo; rosso scuderia with red/blk alcantara w/ oem stripe.
That rear suspension looked to be sitting quite low. I would be surprised if it wasn't modified to get that ride height. have him call me. I know where a nice one is that will be coming up for sale in 60-90 days.
What about this car? Price seems too good to be true http://wwwa.autotrader.ca/a/Ferrari/360/L'ANCIENNE-LORETTE/Quebec/5_12379284_2004337242706/
You guys are late to the party. This car has been discussed in this thread a few times and as recent as 5 pages ago. This CS has a salvage title due to floor pan repair (ran over something). The guy detailed the repair. It's a steal if resale is not your issue.
Have you seen the CarFax? LOL! You're thinking of another car... floor pan CS is in California. Car in question is from Quebec and is one of two Canadian cars that is in my current CS inventory count. No, California.
Red w/ red/blk alcantara CS just listed yesterday from Arkansas. 13k miles $125k. That makes "14" currently for sale in NA; 12 in US 2 in Canada.
This might not be right place to post this, but while shopping downtown I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing a pristine example of a CS roaring through Union Sq...it was beautiful! Though I'm working to secure a Scud atm, I have to say, the CS looks and sounds sexier...wish I had the funds to have both, having to choose between them is a conundrum.
Ok how good is Stokpro Does anyone know where that one car that was driven that one time by that one guy near that one place is today?
You mean this one; sure it was a 'guy' driving?? Where's the BEEF? LOL! Image Unavailable, Please Login
