A little off topic.. but, does driving hard in the snow, as in the video, harm the engine in any way as there is not much load on the wheels? Similar to just revving away while in neutral? I'm guessing not nearly as much since trans is engaged ans so forth. Harm isn't quite the right word.. maybe "negatively effect" is better. Just a thought.. Great video!
It's just like anything else going full throttle anywhere, when you make your car perform you are causing wear. It wouldn't be anything more significant than using a Ferrari for what it is intended, and obiviously this is one of the many intentions built for the FF. I also have friends that have been hooning their Subaru's on the snow and ice for years and never had any problems more than usual expected wear. Now crashing on the other hand...
