An older couple in their late 70's, active in philanthropy in the Valley for decades, were found bound and burned to death in their PV home on Monday. That is really scary. This is not the inner city. Is it time for armed guards at private homes?

A crude but effective way to wipe out the fingerprints, that's why they torched the car too.

I have a feeling as times get tougher, these types of crimes will be more common place.

That's why I'm armed and 'somewhat' dangerous...... most of the time.

My sympathy goes out to the family.

Same thing happened in Show Low last spring, only thing is, they stold three cars, Ferrari, Corvette, and Hummer. Got caught at the boarder tring to take the cars across to Mexico.

Was the people's cleaning ladies kid.

There is more to this than meets the eye. The PV Police have essentially shut down communications about this crime. The US Marshalls are now involved, as is apparently the FBI and Secret Service. Not your everday robbery and murder investigation.

Sure about the Secret Service??? They only investigate Monetary/counterfit crimes and of course do political security service detail... so... thats either incorrect or fishy

Sounds strange, unless they are trying to still catch someone involved?, maybe a top guy who sends scum like these out on the jobs themselves?
