I thought I posted the Top Gear India Special here. There are some Ferraris and Lamborghinis in the Delhi portion, I don't think the link is still working though.

Yes we did !! Even though it was a good episode yet I felt it wasn't of Top Gear standard .. I expected more .... Here you can find 'behind the scene' info and pics about top gear shooting in India http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super-cars-imports-india/108860-top-gear-christmas-special-shooting-india-teaser-video-pg-16-a.html Source - www.team-bhp.com
The Ferrari count in India has shot up tremendously over the past few years. At the current moment Mumbai itself has 5 Italias and that too in different colours. Looks like the 458 is set to take the crown of the most popular Prancing Horse in the country
+1 Going by the count of 458s I feel it has already become the most popular Ferrari in India !! Now more about you 458 experience with pics please
I read about 13-14 pages of that thread, are you the same Dippy they are talking about, not too many Dippys are there! You look tiny compared to Jeremy!
Well yes that is me of course And Im finally glad to be part of a Ferrari centric forum. Nice to be in the company of other Prancing Horse nuts. The 355 is my all time favorite Ferrari but after trying out the 458 recently, it does get respect from me. Ferrari has got it just right with the combination of practicality and power. For me its the best car in the world today.
all that's left to do is get the owners to pay for a road where they can actually drive the ruddy things !!!

reckless driver gored by a raging bull ... rich dickheads buy these very fast & expensive cars but have ZERO competence to drive them ... http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/Fatal-Lamborghini-crash-in-Delhis-BRT-corridor/articleshow/11957149.cms
This case came to limelight because a costly, expensive supercar is involved in the crash. Everyday there are hundreds of deaths in accidents in India which go unnoticed, which again is to be blamed to the irresponsible driving of countless incompetent drivers. Violation of traffic laws has become a norm. The current state of governance isn't good either and I am sure the concerned authorities will be in an agitated stated only for a few days. However all rich guys aren't incompetent, reckless and careless. However now there is no point in bashing the dead guy. May his soul rest in peace and may his family members gather enough courage to overcome this trauma.
ur absolutely correct ishan. but it shows the tender underbelly of the indian system. india has suddenly come alive to the sound of these extremely fast cars ... and there are enough people with the money to buy them ... but VERY few who can actually drive them with any degree of competence. there's a VERY good reason why insurance companies internationally will not cover under 30's for supercars ... it's called experience. and the fact that india does not have the roads to open up these machines does not help either. the traffic is horrendous, as is the road condition itself. btw, without naming names, money does NOT buy competence. there are plenty of brats born with a silver spoon jammed up their a$$es who think they are Gods' gift to cars !!! the kings of show-off ... these are the dangerous morons on the roads. as far as "bashing the dead guy" is concerned ... i have zero sympathy for people with a death wish. let them go kill themselves, WITHOUT killing other innocents in the process !!! 99% of the time, the "other" casualties will be the street people, people no one cares about, people who will rarely get proper hospital treatment. the cyclist who got hit WILL probably die, possibly due to negligent hospital care compounded with his massive injuries. HE is the one who deserves sympathy and support. NOT the f***ing driver !!! enuf said.
I agree with you max. Even I am more sympathetic for that poor guy who got injured. Reports say he might be paralyzed for rest of his life. For no mistake of his own he and his family are going to have a tough life. Things might be a bit easier for the rich guy but for the family of the poor guy .. making ends meet is going to be very tough ...
correct. and the mofo driver can rest in pieces ... or what's left of him !!! F**k him ... the roads are better without a-holes like him.
$400,000+ deal without knowledge of family members. Well certainly rich but irresponsible. http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/NewDelhi/The-family-didn-t-know-Rishi-had-bought-a-Lamborghini/Article1-814453.aspx
in the indian context, i don't buy it ... a 20-something punk does not commit 3.5 cr without the knowledge or concurrence of his family. i rest my case ...
