I've the 2 already...
1. it is a thursday evening shoot
2. a local Le Mans newspaper had that small article about Paul Rilly.
You can notice on that 2nd pic that the car had 4 additionnal front lights, only 2 were admitted after Technical controle, so I'm deducting it is a shoot while arriving at Le mans.

 

Olivier, thank you for clarification.

On the 2nd image I see the tubi exhaust. So, was the tubi installed before race? And was replaced by Capri RS tubi later?

Good moring everybody,

My name is Wolfgang Meiser and have a small collection of italian classics.
I recently got a Lamborghini Islero S and I have some work to do on the car. It now has an ugly radio which doesn't fit at all to the car. I would appreciate your advise which radios have been installed originally in the Islero. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the story is about my car #6489.
My buddy Paul is the one who posted the article. And yes, I have added a copy "history of Lamborghini" to my own library.

From the Registry: Red/Black & Grey. Was in Missouri, USA until 2000. Now with Simon Kao, San Fransisco, CA, USA. Appeared in the book Lamborghini Supreme Among Exotics on pp 81-85 and Lamborghini the Legend on p32.

Wait a minute. I live in Berkeley. Kansas car? I guess I missunderstood... Simon Kao. Sorry, I don't personally know him, maybe he'll bring the car out on a few local runs, I look forward to meeting another Islero owner in the Bay area. Looks great from the pics.

 

Information I posted was from the Lamborghini Registry...not current ownership. New owner is in Kansas where the car was just delivered. Registry will updated with the new owner.

Hi everyone,

Next week, there will be an exhibition in Milano in which Marazzi will have a stand:

I didn't know about this exhibition a few weeks ago but it seems to be pretty well organized. Moreover and thanks to Olivier, my car will be displayed on their stand, which is an honor and a real pleasure for me.
I'll keep you posted and I'll take some pictures when I'm there.

In the meantime and as an appetizer, here is a picture of the car in front of the Marazzi facility near Milano.

Olivier, I am looking forward to seeing you there next saturday!

That's great! Out of curiosity what other cars did Marazzi build? Other than the 400 & Islero.
