Nice pics! Is this at Causeway Park? I'm having trouble discerning the local of the shoot!

My father is right down the road on Lido Key :)

Beautiful pictures, and beautiful car. It really does look great in person.

At FoSD it's always being test driven so it's always the closest to the door. So tempting ;)

That's Sarasota Bay and the Ringling Bridge to Bird Key & Lido Key in the background. Probably taken at Centennial Park. Great locale. Awesome shots.

That is correct. It looks closer to the bridge than Centennial Park. Maybe right here? 27.343562,-82.550653 :)

Thanks for the kind words. The location is actually behind the Van Wezel performing arts center. They have a big circular patch of concrete where the trucks and busses unload. It over looks the bay and bridge, and if you position the car correctly the poles don't get in the way.

Also, I check the Van Wezel calendar before I shoot there so I know it will be empty ;)

That was my other guess, Van Wezel parking lot. Essentially right across the channel from Centennial Park. Our property is right along that shore on the bay. Great photo's.

Beautiful car. Absolutely stunning. Controversial at first, but as with all Ferrari cars, alluring in the end.

In all seriousness, those are stunning photos, great choice for the photo shoot, just add a couple pretty models.

Thanks again for all of the comments :)

As for the location: I've used this once before with a V10 Audi R8 but I wanted to try it out a little earlier in the morning with the sun behind my back. I'll be getting a set of lights in a bit and going back during sunset with another car. Now THAT should be fun!

Here's the Audi photos if you're interested. The beautiful girl towards the end of the shoot is my 4.5 month pregnant (at the time) girlfriend. She's 6 months right now :)

Great shots as usual Peter! And congratulations again on the baby news! I'm really looking forward to seeing your shots once you get the set of lights; what kit did you opt for?

    Thanks Gil!!

I'm going budget-buy on this one, for now. I'm going to add an external flash, some light stands, umbrellas, and a radio flash trigger. My SB600 I have now can act in commander mode, so I just need one trigger for the second flash.

I was really hoping to pick up some strobes, but simple flashes might work better for a lighting beginner like myself.

beautiful pictures! I like the color of the car! Perhaps it should have grey wheels and a red interior. The diamond stitch is perfect for the FF
