    I understand that the non-matching-factor became an issue when the car was aquired by the current owner from Munich, Germany some years ago.

    Mr. G.: Your great pix were taken at Carrozzeria Auto Sport of Bachelli & Villa in Bastiglia, near Modena.
    A major restorer, they also fabricated tons of bodies for the 512 BB LM comp cars.

    This must be one of the "spare" parts from one of the aforementioned 512 BB LM's.They were also "fixing" a crashed F40 LM car as well.

    The 250 LM is a replica.
    The 275 GTS Spider is #07487.
    The "Comp Daytona" is a conversion based on 365 GTB/4 #14297.
    The black 365 GTC/4 Spider is a conversion based on #15869.

    Bacchelli had to fight cancer shortly after this photos were taken. He survived after a very complicated surgery in Milan and had a very difficult period for the next 2 years. He is well now but "halve the size" as seen here in those photos.

    According to my infos Villa is still working.
