    All,

I have 1 extra NOS sealed; SKF 6203-2Z/C3.
I have 1 opened box NOS and un-sealed; SKF 6203-2Z/C3.
and, 4 extra seals 9733/324151. ( cheap PM me.)

These are the correct Part Numbers for a late 1981 308 2V, 40mm, Outer Bearing type front motor cover.
and this set can be used for the Inner Bearing type front cover, by opening the box and Un-sealing the bearing.
( for, I just rebuilt mine, and these are what I pulled out.)
    ;)

Thanks for the info, guys, but this was the p/n I was looking for.
I guess that means you can't get one from the local SKF supplier, right? :(

    Yes,
I also have that problem with the 308 328, Clutch Stub Shaft Bearing????? freakin Stealors have the market cornered. ( ...... maybe)
    ;)

Just like our Starter Solinoids and their stoopid F car number, and it's a simple off the shelf BOSCH item. Ha

Thus,,,, really, it can't be "That" special.
    :)

    still looking,

Can't agree with you here Edwardo. The 6203-2Z/C3 bearings are shielded -- not sealed.

Do agree that you can remove the shields from the 6203-2Z/C3 bearings and use them in the early configuration #1 outer position, or remove the seals from the 6201-2RS1/LHT23 and use those at the inner position of any configuration.

(I've got no idea if the original design used the C3 or C4 internal clearance, but either seems OKish to me -- and I might be tempted to use C3 on configuration #1 and C4 on configuration #2a/2b).
