I made a thread on this not long ago, but what is not mentioned in the above is how much drivers prefer these new tires for 2012. With a more square shoulder the rear tires are better and the fronts have more bite. A real 'drivers' tire that belongs in F1.
From Autosport; I thought they'd reversed those allocations this year in an attempt to get 'em all running in Q3 rather than going to tire conservation mode. Maybe they've just loosened the "use 'em or lose 'em rule"? Gotta check the rules..... Cheers, Ian
