That sounds like a great combination for the spider.

Red calipers and yellow never go well IMHO.

I would go with yellow calipers. Yellow isnt that wilde, it looks great. I would however have the roof wrapped in case you get tired of the black and want a purer look.

Agree about the red calipers and wrapping the roof.
I've never been a huge fan of yellow cars, but the new triple layer yellow is really nice.

I would not go with red calipers and a yellow car. Black or silver makes more sense.

I completely agree about black or aluminum calipers. Wrap the roof.

Wow! That combo sounds awfully familiar! :)
Can't wait to see it in the flesh. I don't have a picture with the red calipers, but have seen
the combo on a coupe. Looks great!

That would work much better if only the humps were in black (and roof, of course) and the deck stayed yellow.

I think doing the roof in black defeats the whole purpose of the 'hardtop' convertible look. A solid color with the folding hardtop looks new. The black roof color on yellow just looks like all the Ferrari convertibles of the past that had a cloth top...
Yellow doesn't seem a popular color choice in Canada. There is a new 3 layer blue that might be an easier change from silverstone than jumping to yellow...

+1. The engine bay cover looks ridiculous half black half yellow.

Looks snappy and you'll get lots of attention. It's kinda like dying your hair red. But sometimes, like often over the long run, too many eyes result in discomfort. Think twice.

If you are going to keep it only for a short while then the three layer yellow will appeal to anyone wanting to pay a premium as they will want to be noticed. Red callipers would be truly horrible IMHO, but if you want to see a Spider in yellow, it was on a recent cover of road and track and having seen one in the flesh it looks great, shows the lines beautifully. Might be a more tricky sale further down the line. Definitely wrap the top as may not work. It works on the coupe because of that beautiful tear drop shape when viewed from above that just blends in. Here it is a harsh break. My Spider is coming in Grigio T and I will try wrapping the roof to see.

i would go with black or yellow calipers.
I think the yellow with black roof spider will look great, just try to avoid red calipers.

This was never meant to mimic a cloth convertible top. It is no different than the wrap treatment
or two-tone paint on a coupe. As a matter of fact, it was mentioned that this will be a factory
option on the spiders next month. I was not trying to achieve the look of a convertible on a car that
IS a convertible. Even I agree that the line flows better on the coupe, but the spider gives you the best
    of both worlds.

As for the rear deck, it would be easy enough to cut the vinyl wrap where it covers only the butresses
and not the deck. Remember, this is just a styling option. Many have expressed their feelings of
discontent with this and others really like it. Isn't it great that we have choices on such a great car? :)

picking up my friends 2010 yellow 458 on saturday. its not a spider nor the three stage paint but it looks amazing! it has yellow calipers and yellow deviated stitching with leather and alcantara inside. we are going to black the roof and wheels. go with what you like not on the advice of the salesman. if your worried about resale, you shouldnt be playing with cars.

Yellow and Black is a "stunning" color combo. But you've got to lose the red calipers Great for Mickey D's.......Not so great on a yellow 458.

The 458 looks great in giallo. It looks better in person than on the configurator. Pass on the red calipers.
