    Hello Gentlemen,

I am in search of a daily driver. Looking to lease. So far I have narrowed it down to Alpina B7, Maserati GranTurismo, Maserati Quattroporte, Mercedes CLS63, and Porsche Panamera. All very distinct cars, I know. But all are generally in the same price range. I am also considering waiting for the M6. Your thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Testdrive a M5 and a standard 6 series. Then you may see if the M6 will work for you or not. Personally I like the styling of the present 6 series very much - best of all your choices above! Similar request with SLS as result:

But keep in mind the SLS is a real sportscar, not a modified SL.

    What he said.

If you don't need a back seat, I'd go with the GranTurismo or a 997 Turbo (if budget allows). The former is prettier, the latter is probably going to be more dependable and certainly more entertaining to drive. Tough call.

If you need a back seat, maybe check out the Audi S5. It's far and away the best looking of the lot, hard to beat as a fast daily driver. They are a little harder to find, because dealers seem to only get 1 a month, so plan to order one and wait to get what you want.

I'm not keen on the BMW 6 series, just can't get excited about them. Maybe because they're dirt common around here.

FYI, the GranTurismo has one of the largest rear seats of any 2 door coupe currently on the market; larger than the one in the M6 and S5

Best daily driver I have ever driven was a Cayenne Turbo S, it combined everything I could ever wish for in a car :)

I have similar dilemma, since my '11 S63 lease ends in December.
With Renntech mods (580hp at the wheels) is a fun daily driver but I need a change to something less limo like.
Thinking about a nice 612 as a rational choice or if I become irrational,an FF or new 620GT(would get killed in depreciation with my 15k miles/year).
Choosing a car from the OP list,M6 might be the most satisfying choice, IMO....

Panamera if it's going to be a daily driver. Good reliability and the interior is killer.

Little background here, I'm in my mid-20s. Recently single. I suppose I value panache over anything else.

    BMW 6 Gran Coupe?

Based on your list, I can't quite figure out what you're going for. You have mainly high performance sedans with a 2+2 coupe mixed in.

Interior is amazing on the Panamera. But the exterior is lacking.
