I have been wanting to get a 360CS, but the right one hasn't become available. I really do like this 430 though.... Would like to hear if anyone knows this car or has any comments of what to look out for. No use in arguing the merits of getting a 430 vs a CS - I have had that conversation with myself plenty of times already. :)

    Thanks!

I don't know anything about the history of the car, but from looking at the options and the pictures, this is definitely a nice car with some very nice options on it. If the car looks this good in person and has a clean history, I wouldnt hesitate at all on buying it.

That car is definitely hooked up with all the options. Between the seats, brakes, headliner, and wheels, it may just be worth the price.

For a comparison I bought my 430 in Oct of 2009. It is an 07 and the same exact colors. I don't have the CCBs, challenge wheels, or the seats but I paid 149k and the car had 5900 miles. At the time the car was basically brand new at just 2 years old and it had 1/3 the mileage this one does.

I like the options a lot and wish I had those seats in my car, but I think the asking price is just a little high. We don't have an F430 pricing model on here like we do for the Scuds, but I think if we did the car would still come out a little high.

Either way, I would jump on that car if you really like it. You probably won't find a nicer one, but you will find a less expensive one. (minus all the goodies)

Thanks so much for the feedback & was pretty in line with what I was thinking.

I love the seats, although I am sure there are some out there that would rather have the comfort of some nice daytonas.

Do you folks always get PPI's?

    Thanks

i'd get a PPI unless buying from a dealer or party you absolutely trust.. and even then... worth it.

I clicked on the auto check and it looks like the car has only travelled 800 miles in 2+ years. Any concern there? I know that is not too uncommon, but it looks like it has just been transferred from dealer to dealer maybe over the last few years?

Also, I see the car advertised on the web for $132,888 with 13,300 miles which according to the DMV records would have been March 2010. Just a little dissapointed it is being asked $134,888 now, 2 years later. Seems odd? Were 430 coupes really $132,888 back in March 2010?

Don't worry about the mileage too much.

05 coupes could have been in that price range. It was still a 5 year old car in 2010. For the present time they(all 430s) seem to be holding up well.

GET THE PPI. Cant stress this enough. 430s are pretty much bullet proof but there are always exceptions. You don't want any surprises. And surprises in Ferrari speak can be 5 figures big.

Thanks, will definitely get a PPI no matter what then.

Interesting that 430's have held their price that well! I know 360's would still see a decline over the past 2 years.

If anything though, the asking price shouldn't go up in 2 years.

That same price 2 years ago might just be a mistake.

I think the asking price right now seems about right... perhaps you offer $128K???

If the PPI is good and like i said, if it looks just as good in person, I would buy it. It would be very hard to find such a great optioned car like this one. The ONLY thing it doesnt have on it is a Tubi exhaust (or similar).

+1 to both parts. I was going to say that 127-129k would be about right from what I've been seeing lately.

For another comparison my friend bought an 06 black/black F1 spider with 3000 miles for 135k. He got a great deal and most comps are higher, but these deals are out there if you can find them.

I went through the same thing when I was buying mine (just 4 to 5 months ago). Here is the bottom line...and from other members told me. If you find the right car, have a top end number in your head and go get it. People told me $5K should not sway you either way for a WELL SERVICED car. You can find one for less, but then spend to get it "up to date".

Options look good....carbon fiber (but not in the driving zone), yellow tach, sport seats, nice color combo, contract stitch.....

    How are the tires?

On the contrary to the posting about getting a Tubi...the stock 430 exhaust is roaring...keep it stock. The worst thing about the car will be the stereo.

I hear you... My problem this is at the very, very top of my budget. But I like the options.

The tires are new. I am ok with a stock exhaust and the stereo would definitely be better than in my old 328 or TR!

Just got a call.... Pending PPI now. :)

Beautifullllll color...the Rossa Scuderia, that is. I was looking closely at a Rossa Scuderia Spider, and it just sets itself apart from the sea of common Rossa Corsa's.

I've spoken with Trevor at Exotic Motors Midwest about another car, and he seems pretty candid. I'm sure there is some room to move on the car. If it has all the options you want, as you mentioned, don't let $5k sway you.

I've been looking feverishly for a 430 Spider Red on blk, and they are hard to find....g'luck!!!

Thanks, I paid a little more than I wanted to, but offer accepted. Hate the waiting now! I really don't think I can find one with this spec, so I am happy with how it all turned out.

    Good luck in your search.

That sounds about right. I remember finding the odd one down in the 120's but most were at least in the 130's if not more.

Anyway congrats. Rosso Scuderia is the best colour, but of course, I'm a bit biased.
