Good day. I found this picture, it should be Paris Motor Show the 1949th I'm not sure this is a 008M chassis (22), 019S and 024M? Thank you for your reply. Boris Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Touring Barchettas have four digit numbers not three digits (0008 M and 0024 M, not 008 M and 024 M). Marcel Massini
Those were the days, look how that car was towed there. Today it's big money and side by side big rigs. You could park down by the lake too.
Please, you know what the s/n of its cars at show car Geneva 1973: http://brunodaytona67.canalblog.com/albums/bruno__automobiles/photos/8165222-312pb_geneve_73.html Monaco 1975: http://brunodaytona67.canalblog.com/albums/bruno__automobiles/photos/6652547-275_gtb4_ge33920_monaco_75_.html http://brunodaytona67.canalblog.com/albums/bruno__automobiles/photos/6654006-365_gtb4_monaco_75.html Thank

Pretty good color, although it was a Porschhhe year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9eluW_xgo_s And the Targa thread: http://www.forum-auto.com/sport-auto/histoire-du-sport-auto/sujet378358-48230.htm Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 17th 2012
I am guessing photo was taken sometime in 1969 or thereabouts, looks like Series 1.5 E types out front and a Series II in front of the window. Can't tell if any of the Silver Shadows have Fed bumpers yet. The Austin America's certainly look tasty, think they were introduced stateside in 1970?
this picture is from a videogame but can anyone help me to identify this car? i could say it's an alfa 158/159 but i was wondering if ferrari ever had a car of their own that looked like that Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alfetta and no way to say for sure from just the photo but considering the company, likely a Tipo 159. Ciao, Bill
I would say its a 158, and since Ferrari built the first prewar Alfa Romeo 158 for Alfa in its Scuderia Ferrari Modena shops you could call it part Ferrari. That was just before Alfa fired Enzo and hired Ricart. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 17th 2012
You post makes it sound like Enzo Ferrari himself designed the 158 which of course is not true, it was Gioacchino Colombo who at that time worked for Scuderia Ferrari (proof if needed: http://www.***************.com/car/1106/Alfa-Romeo-159--Alfetta-.html). All these designers/engineers bounced from one Italian car company to the next so the fact that he was working within Ferrari paid for walls does not mean much as Scuderia Ferrari was employed at the time by Alfa Romeo to run it's competition department, and Gioacchino was consigned to design the Alfetta. Brilliant car and one worth replicating, IF and ONLY if you could do it justise. No need to worry about historic Alfa Romeo or Ferrari road cars being pillaged for parts as they share none. Pete ps: The shape of the video game 158/159 does not look quite right to me, definitely the grill colour or texture is wrong, but it could only be that car. As the Ferraris appear to be very early ones .... I'd say the supercharged ones (that were not competitive) thus the Alfa has to be a 158 AND should be in front of the Ferraris .
