Who'd have thought Bobby Brown would outlive her ?

I waited for an opinion I could agree with 100%. I am very very curious though about the cause of death. A dearly departed friend of mine about one year younger than I suddenly passed away in his sleep and it was found that he had an unknown heart defect and lets just say he partied like nobodys business.

I truelly belive that when God feels it is time to come home nothing matters concerning age etc etc etc. My grandmother always told me 'I have a purpose but it may take some time' so in that knowledge I keep on truckin on.

I cannot remember if Whitney had children but if she did I send prayers.

 

Hopefully other's can learn from this tragedy. What a waste. RIP.

I've never understood why the rich and famous don't use all the money they have stashed to get treatment. It's not the first time we've witness something like this. They never seem to learn.

 

Because denial of reality is one of the insidious characteristics of addiction. Lying and living in an alternate reality where it is everyone else's problem at some point happens with every addict.

This denial is also why treatment fails so often. A person compelled to enter treatment will go through the motions to appease their family or court order, but relapse is almost guaranteed. The only people who will be successful in rehab are those which acknowledge their problem and want to get better.

I wonder if there is a level of wealth where you have enough money to take off 4 months and seek the best treatment possible, but not so much that you are surrounded by enablers and hangers-on so that you never have to face your problems (ala Michael Jackson). It is almost like their is a sweet spot. Not enough money and you compromise treatment or cannot afford it at all, too much and you never have to face the truth of your destructive disease.

 

Rehabs aside, sometimes, what they only need is a true friend to talk to and understand their feelings, what they are going through.

 

I think we are saying the same thing. At that level of fame/wealth, do you really have "true" friends?

Heard on the news this morning they found a white powdery substance and a spoon in her room. Gee I wonder what the substance was?

I heard on the radio a few days back that her family are placing most of the blame on her downfall on that POS (imo) husband Bobby Brown, I could not agree more.

 

Although B. Brown is a ***** and I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I don't put the blame entirely on him.

Water seeks it's own level.

 

Nor do I as we all dig our own grave.
