Joe/anyone What colour is this?? Is it arancio with an odd filter on the camera or what? This CT is clearly my favorite colour!! John
John: I THINK it is a car imported to Japan by Tomita Auto finished in Oro Longchamps (gold), but the images are 37 years old and the color is misrepresented making it look more bronze. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Indeed, all that stuff can be fettled and made perfect. Depends on how much TLC the car has had... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Love this thread, thanks to everyone for sharing all the great photos and information. Does anyone know the whereabouts of my fathers old Countach 25th Anniversary? I believe it was originally sold new via Brian Wiggins at Bramshaw in Bournemouth (who soon after shared the concession with Portman) to local nightclub owner Richard Carr who also had some interest in an offshore powerboat racing team that used Lamborghini engines. The Countach was RHD, black with natural interior, no rear wing, almost identical to the photos of the Bramley car a couple of pages back. Carr lost his license and the Countach was sold by Bramshaw in 1993 to my father (Peter Tyer). He had it registered on the plates 1950 RT and kept it for around a year before trading it back to Bramshaw for a Dino GTS and Alfa SZ. I would love to know the whereabouts of this car as I'd eventually like to buy it back. Unfortunately I have no photos or any other useful info to go on. Thanks!
Dedicated post to stlouis I met this morning in a cold, but cool, french Cars and Coffee close to Paris. Here's a nice Parisian Countach I saw on september 2009 in Monthléry. Image Unavailable, Please Login
BTW, in touch with an Italian guy who has a very nice 5000S. Well, in my opinion, but I'm sure some people here, with a more educated taste, will find some flaws here and there !
