need to have pis "point of initial slip" set up a couple points, clutch is probably dragging causing gearbox to turn while in neutral no big deal just need a tester.

This happens a ton. Do you always make sure to shift to neutral before starting? RTGT told me if I have a flat garage, which I do, to never leave the car in gear when I turn it off. Always turn it off in neutral. I rarely ever has this problem, unless I have hit the kill switch for a period of time I won't be driving it.

Try my advice, I think you will be surprised that over a month or so, the car will select reverse much easier.

But make sure you don't take my advice if you are parking on a hill or slope. Just remember to select neutral before starting each and every time. And be very gentle with that reverse lever.

Also might try pushing a little harder on the brake before selecting reverse, sometimes I don't press hard enough.

Although it might make sense to leave the vehicle in N with the hand brake on....the manual states "Turning Off Engine: never leave the vehicle with the gearshift in N,but engage the gear (1 or R)."

How many miles on your car? You could take it in and have them check it. I have never heard that changing the PIS can affect the ease of getting neutral. But others know way more than me. All I can give you is what worked for me.

pis/clutch wear ect.... via sd2? it is a must for proper operation.

+1. If you put your car on a tester and looked in the parameters page you will probably find there is rpm shown on the input speed sensor, even in neutral. It's dragging in gear as the pis is too low. Effectively it's the same as trying to put it into gear with your foot half pressing the clutch pedal on a manual car. The lowere the PIS setting, the snappier the gear change, but if it's set too low this is what happens. Also, as Tech4 has said already, it's important that they transposed the clutch thickness settings from your old ecu when they did the swap.
