    I found out my handle 'texasmr2' that I have been using since about 1996 is the title name for another media based entity and I do not want it used by anyone other than me. Should I look into a copyright or something?

    I have no knowledge of how this should be handled or if I should even worry about it?

    Trademark, and no. Not unless you've been selling a product or service with that mark on it.

    If it makes you feel any better, I've been using "ryalex" online for over 15 years but it is also an unaffiliated wholesaler of shoes for strippers (yes, really).
