Ingegnere, you seem to be getting some attention drawn to your renderings.....however it unfortunately seems like you're not getting any credit. http://www.worldcarfans.com/112021941347/ferrari-620-gt-to-be-revealed-22nd-february-alleged-rear
Its sure going to interesting to see what the "numbers" look like but I would be guessing 0-100 km/h in around 2.7 seconds to keep it with the Aventador but its seems a shame to bring this new car down to numbers, one need just look at the huge jump between the 575 and the 599 and this looks like it could be as big a jump this time around. Me, I beleive we are living in the ultimate age of the supercar.
Thanks for the heads-up. Worldcarfans and ********* both not mentioning source. At least it's got my anonymous initials , but next time I'll put a Ferrarichat watermark before I post.
To be honest, Lamborghini sucks. I mean, there's no comparison, Ferrari is another world, it's a car made for racing, for a track use, a Lambo has too many limits if you try to push it to the limit, not a car made for racing, just for posing, and sure in a standing start it's faster, it's 4WD! @ingegnere: I was one of the very first that used your drawing and I think they found it from my little blog because I know most of the people that used it after me, but I've put the proper credits because as always I respect the work of everyone http://marchettinoyoutube.blogspot.com/2012/02/2012-ferrari-f620-gt-is-almost-here.html
I dunno...The aventador seems to be quite nippy around a track. Even on a very narrow track (top gear) it was only just a couple of tenths slower then the MP4-12c, a car which was developed on that track, was on track tires, and being suited better on narrower tracks. Not bad for a beast as big as the Aventador.
that's true , people from Lamborghini in last years change their philosophy and cars are now something more than just a good looking vehicle
To be honest, you do not know what you're talking about. The aventador has destroyed every ferrari and most other competitors including the 599GTO on the track tests. You might want to look up the Quattroruote 'Club 4 secondi' if you want to see the truth.
on Vairano racetrack Aventador beat even MP4-12C: 1.13:860 - Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 NEW LAP RECORD 1.14:815 - McLaren MP4-12C 1.16:087 - Ferrari 599 GTO 1.16:389 - Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 500ps http://images49.fotosik.pl/1334/79f53072162fc0cb.jpg .
Despite the fact that the McLaren is faster than a GTO I wouldn't NEVER trade my GTO for a McLaren. Next to a GTO the McLaren is a rather dull car. No emotion, sound isn't there. In fact, I know somebody who has put his McLaren up for sale after only driving it for a month and a half. Decided to switch back to Ferrari and described the feeling after driving the 458 and 458C as "coming home again". I guess my point is ... raw numbers alone don't do it. Sure ... the new 599 will be very fast and quicker than a GTO but that won't make us forget the GTO. I'm 100% sure that the GTO won't be looked at as an "old standard car" once the new 599 is released. It will only get better as time goes by. I'm quite confident that the new baby will push all of the right buttons for many of us. Even if it is a notch slower than the Aventador or McLaren, it will still be a Ferrari. Exiting days up ahead
IMO it doesn't matter. Like he said above, in my mind Lambo has always just been there. I hate a hypocrite and worse than a hypocrite I hate a thief. We all know the real story how Lambo got started. They boast out of both sides of their mouths. We are better than Ferrari then they say they don't copy or want to be like Ferrari. Yet they've been trying to incorporate racing tech in their street cars. Go figure, a company that doesn't race or no jack sh*t about racing or care about racing putting racing tech in their cars. Yet they say, "we don't want to be like Ferrari". Besides until they produce RWD cars, Lambo lap times and all that stuff are complete jokes just IMO. Nothing they do in AWD is a bench mark for what Ferrari does. Some of their cars have been been stunning but Lamoborghini will always be an imitation of Ferrari. I really don't care what they do. I don't think Ferrari selling 7,200 cars a year while Lambo sales flounder, really cares what Lamborghini does. They hardly control or dictate the super car market.
when Lamborghini will start to build four seats family cars like FF and California then they will have also much bigger sales
I doubt it. They will continue to make the gallardo & their exotic V12. Lamborghini can't make a successful practical front engine car or 2+2 because the people who buy their cars only want to be seen & that just isn't flashy enough. The SUV concept will never go into production, it won't sell just like that 4 door sedan they briefly tried to push.
Wow, this thread has taken a turn the last few posts....Maybe a mod will filter those into another thread... Looking forward to hearing from those that saw the car today!
The front is very aggressive, the back is ..well particular. Exactly as in the photo posted earlier. 740 bhp and 1525 kgs dry weight. 340 km/h Pics were not allowed, of course!
Sounds very tempting. My guess is the weight with fluids will be around 3450lbs. Pretty darn impressive when you consider that big power = strong components = weight; and also all the goodies these cars have now days. Thanks for the updates. I can't wait to see it.
