Just beat original Assassins Creed again. Great game; the final boss swordfight is a tough challenge.

Currently downloading The Witcher-Director's Cut from Amazon.

PC game downloads are a good deal...they usually take several hours but that's OK for 80% off $50-$60 retail.

 

I bought that from Steam for $5 a few years back. Yet to finish it but enjoy playing it from time to time Really need to get on with it so I can get no2

Most of my gaming is on the Xbox these days, tho I did buy some steam games over Xmas with all the specials on.

Atari Classic games for Android on my phone.

 

Got latest-version Deus Ex on disc from Amazon late last year...it was on sale, less than $20. Great first-person shooter, worth a replay.

I've never made the transition to console gaming. We bought a PS2 around 2000 and ended up using it for DVD movie playback.

Also have bought some Steam games during specials.

Diablo3 closed beta invites went out last week.

 

I'm now well into the Witcher Director's Cut. Would give drugs a good run for addiction potential.

 

Saints Row the Third on PS3. The game is frickin hilarious. I'm normally not a fan of sandbox GTA type games (except for Arkham City) but SR is very entertaining.

I tried the demo but just couldn't get into it. Wasn't bad but could have been better.

 

Agreed. It felt like I was playing a single player version of WOW.

 

Played the demo also. It is inferior to dark souls in just about every way, but still a great game and certainly better than Skyrim. Really enjoying it - it isn't original in any way, shape, or form - but it combines many different games and does it well. Enough to hold me over until Diablo 3.

 

Don't really play Video Games anymore but I loved San Andreas and will get the new one next year.

Some great mods & cheats on GTA SA as well.

Update: This game is AWESOME. The combat system is fast and a lot of fun. I'm playing on the "hard" difficulty and it has proven quite the challenge. Love everything about this game. If you love a good action RPG - don't miss it.

Question from a non-gamer. Is the new Star Wars: Old Republic game basically the same thing as World of Warcraft in terms of the online multiplayer gameplay just with Star Wars characters? I would think that would be hugely popular.
