Ciao Roberto, thanks for visiting I look forward to seeing the updated pictures of the 355 System. Please be sure to include pictures that show your headers with the heat shields attached. Actually to make it clear what all the modular configurations can be why don't you show each configuration? I don't think it is clear to all of us that we could just buy the headers and a delete ByPass valve inlet blocking plate which would basically simulate having an exhaust on the 355 that would match the configuration of the 348 and 360. I would think this minimal configuration would interest many 355 owners. Or perhaps I completely misunderstood that as one of the possible configurations <embarrassed>
It will be hard to have clips without a car! It's not the easiest car to source, and as the system is valuable, we can't sacrifice one to make new videos. Of course I'll take pictures in as many configurations and POV as I can.
Tell you what. Send me the parts and I will install them since I am about to do a major service anyway. I can take pictures of the install for instructional purposes, write up the install, make before and after sound clips, video clips etc. Whatever you need. I can't spend the retail pricing on this system right now, but I can work it off and help you gain sales with some real life testing There is also a local dyno that I could perform a before and after run, but I assume you guys have already done that.
Which system would you be interested into? We're open to discuss, send us a PM when you have a chance.
Thank you Roberto! I have attached the pictures in this post. Pictures of the fully assembled headers will follow. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looking forward to the pics to see how these heat shields are mounted Are the heat shields mounted to the cars sub frame (at the engine mounts) ?
They currently don't have the cats or mufflers available, they need to be made for the next order. In the first post, we showcase the headers, cat pipes and mufflers. You would not have to use the Y pipes pictured on the first post. For reference, I have attached a picture of the full 360 system which has a very similar system. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think it is awesomely cool that Supersprint is assigned the patent for that collector! http://www.google.com/patents?id=m-UTAAAAEBAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=6931843&hl=en&sa=X&ei=jUpFT_HxEI2gtwertYSAAw&ved=0CDQQ6AEwAA .
I'll buy crap headers every couple of years to keep my Y-pipe. Editing, as I saw an answer to my earlier question, though I still don't really understand. I currently am running a Capristo muffler and a Capristo bypass valve. So can I use these header with some sort of adapter that KEEPS the Y-pipe functional? I could live without the valve (it will be loud though...) but not without that circuit of the muffler.
If you go back to the first post and look at the pics you will see these headers are designed for the 355 and include the split ypipe on the header to keep the factory ypipe & bypass valve.
Matt will post all the pictures very soon... I'm also looking for the video of the system fitted on the car where you see the detail of the fitment, heatshields etc.
An answer to your PM will be sent shortly! In the meantime, I have attached additional pictures of the disassembled and assembled headers. I'd like to take your addition to the added individual heat shield on the top primary piping - a small detail that improves reliability of the system.
