    Hi Will,

I am sorry that you father died in his Superfast.

I can imagine that he never complained about the handling because in its day it was very good since everything else was worse. But when we drive those cars today we automatically compare them to modern cars and then we realize that the handling and the brakes are insufficient for the power.

    Best

Such an amazing exhibit from the pictures I have seen. Had my plane ticket ready to go until Saddam invaded Kuwait and got me stuck in the sand for 9 months through Desert Shield/Storm.

    6267 SF. Has a 4-liter 330 engine type 209.
"Standard" 500 Superfasts have type 208.

On the 500 SF chassisplate the chassisnumber does not have a suffix. This is another example.

S/n is 500 SF 6049 or 6049 SF. But for example 33th example built has just 8459 on the chassisplate. So may be 6267 GT would be most correct for ex Prince Bernhard car?

On the factory build sheets for 6267 the suffix is SA (6267 SA). Not SF and not GT.
    (SA = Superamerica = 4 liter).

Never trust websites or placards placed in front of a car.
    This should be it:

Ferrari 330 Superfast Speciale 1964, Chassis No. 6267 SA.
    LHD.
Original exterior color: Verde Pino Metallizzato Italver 20453.
Original interior color: Naturale VM 3218 Connolly.
    Pininfarina Job No. 99592.
11-louvered vent plates, circular Carello turn signal lamps (orange), no air conditioning, no power steering, with power windows, chromed air intake on hood.
Special bench-type front seat, no rear seats.
    Chassis type 578.
Special factory 4-liter 330 GT engine type 209, internal engine block no. 454, with 4 speed and overdrive.
Gearbox type 578 Speciale, internal no. 258.
Differential type 578, internal no. 5.

The 13th of a total of 37 units built (36 units with 5 liter engine plus this special 4-liter car).
    Wheelbase 2'650 mm.

6267 SA was completed at the factory on the 26 August 1964.
HRH Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands first got it with Italian EE license plates "EE 31596" (EE = Escursionisti Esteri = Tourist).

Mr. Massini, thank you for interesting info.

Was the "330 Superfast Speciale" name mentioned on the factory build sheets? In other case "500 Superfast Speciale" name is correct same as the "330 Superfast Speciale" name.
