Didn't someone say there was active aero up front? I wonder if that could be the case where you circled.

 

Disappointed, I think they're now competing with Lambo to see how many angles they can get on a single car.

Lower nose is very Lambo.

 

Has to do something with the fact that the car pictured is a wooden model:

Update: We just received confirmation that this is indeed 100% the new Ferrari F620 GT. The pictured Ferrari F620 GT was displayed at an exclusive Ferrari preview event and it is in fact a wooden model painted in a matt silver colour. There was one red Ferrari F620 GT at the preview event inside which has more details than this wooden full scale model. Regardless it gives a very good impression of the new Ferrari F620 GT.

Will reserve final judgement until I see some more pictures, but like it so far.

While I agree with Jonathan Tremlett that Ferrari shouldn't revive old moniker's I can't help feeling the Squalo (shark) or Super Squalo name associated with the early F1 cars would suit the shape of this car.

 

It sort of reminds me of the 575 Zagato.

I like the front but the rear has this waved/curvy arches that belong on a 1950's touring car (250 TDF). Might be a little too 'soft'.

 

LOVE it! The marque is today on an entirely different level than their competition.

Can't wait to see the rear!

Suitably aggressive, suitably new, slightly jarring, somewhat polarizing, pushing boundaries. Perfect for a new Ferrari IMHO.

first the official photos and then I'll write down my thoughts....

 

This does look better than the wooden model. The way the rear arche joins the hatch is much better.

 

That's the bit which opens to let air in over the brakes - it flowed better on the red car

 

Yes. Seemingly quite a difference over the rear wheel arches (near the C pillar).

Overall, it looks much better than I had expected to be honest.

Yep; otherwise it seems we are seeing the real deal...only the rear is left to see...and of course the interior.

 

The photo seems more credible.
