Definitely Bentley. On my wife's Bentley it works.

The new Viper looks a lot more Italian with it's double bubble.

The original Viper GTS Coupe is still one of my favorites.

Another thought. One of my favorite things about how Ferrari designed and fabricated some of their cars was that the body panel joints did not intersect with the headlight openings. It seems we have lost this trait.

Peter- Did you like the car? In person comments I have heard were mostly positive.

was there an outright dismissal in my comment? no. i opined on what i thought it looked like. and then i admitted that i was not ecstatic about it and mused that things might change as the design aged and became more familiar.

personally, i have no intention of spending any money on anything new from ferrari. the performance differences to some of my present cars is only noticeable on track at 10/10ths, so its almost irrelevant. and the styling does not appeal to me. nor does the eye watering depreciation.

If that number is correct its: 3,362 lbs dry. My guess is ~3450 with fluids. Thats very impressive when you consider this is not a small car, it has massive power and all the modern conveniences and safety equipment.

Edward- 2.204x1525 kg=3361 lbs dry. A bit more for curb weight. The 575M and 599 both had curb weights of ~3800 lbs. This one will be lighter.

Completely agree. This happens every time, particularly with the front engined cars.
When this car's successor comes around I'm expecting a new thread to pop up wondering if the f620 (or whatever it ends up being called) prices will go up, if it will become more desirable, etc.

I have it on good authority that the grainy photo everyone is enjoying talking about is not the 620. It is in fact a prototype that was shown to VIP guests earlier this week in Maranello. So far no photos of the real car have surfaced.

    Stay tuned.

Honestly, if this is really how the car looks, it makes me love my 458 even more. The 458 is one gorgeous F-Car.
I reserve all judgement though until the official photos.

Guys the grainy picture looks like a Clay Styling Buck. Remember when some joker took a camera phone photo of the soon to be introduced 430 at a Client Premiere, it also didn't look too hot.

It's ok that the grainy picture is not a real car, that's what people who have seen the real car are saying.

BUT, be it wood or clay, it can't actually be much different to the real deal, simply because:

    1. Seems to have been showed recently, not exactly in an early design stage

and 2. They keep saying it's not the car but according to them it looks very much like the real car. Plus, it has all the design features we've been told: FF front, cut 8C back, side vents and wheels match exactly even the teaser picture...

Sadly, I think this looks like the real deal.

I can confirm: no lack of power, no lack of torque on the 550!

    +1 Sadly, indeed!

All the features visible on the test mules and the famous uncovered back end match the silver car. You can even make out the scoops/vents on the top of the rear fenders as seen in the teaser video (below) - this is obviously a real car in the making.

About seeing it in person, from the comments of some the people here who've actually seen it there was reference to the back end being questionable. One member here (apologies, can't remember who) said he prefers his GTO.

Yes, the back end had some seemingly quite weird creasing leading up from the centre of the diffuser to form a slightly 275 GTB ish look to the upper part around the rear light cluster. Very odd and different at first glance and not something to judge until seen in the flesh. I say that as even now having looked at it a few times, I am reacting more positively.

....the frontal aspect of that has clear early 90's Toyota Supra styling elements.

I know there are a few threads on the forum about this new car but I believe Ferrari's new benchmark is called the 'Ethos'.
