Damn that thing is HOT!! I think Pnut would want it over Silverstone... just sayin' Sam, aren't you glad you didn't sell yours? You better not sell!
Yesterday I started my CS and let it ran for about 5 minutes and right after I turned it off, my neighbor walked over and said "Hey Sam! what you got here, I thought it was a 747 jet or something" and I just smiled at him. You are right, Stockpro, I'm glad I didn't sell my CS back then.
Oh by the way I had just had factory stripe permenantly installed and then clearcoated over by Premier motorsports a few months ago and can't be happier. It looks as good as or better than factory.
If there are no Stradales on eBay, how many are known to be for sale? Usually there are at least a handful of stradales on eBay, which also represents a large percentage of those which are available to buy. If people start deciding to keep their stradales instead of switching cars or "trading up," the availability will obviously shrink, and prices will quickly escalate. I could see this as a possibility considering there are only about 400 in the US. With so few available in the first place, if owners stop selling them they will become very difficult to come by.
Dupontregistry.com has a few for sale. Autotrader.com also has some. EBAY is not the best place to find one.
I only count four with a brief search (not very thorough). That has to be the lowest in a long time, especially in winter.
Ferrari of beverly hills has a red one for sale at $140k, a one owner CS low miles without stripe. Someone interested should check it out.
I would "guess" that more than 65 have been wrecked. Wrecked CS's seem to pop up here all the time. I found this one last night. Anyone seen it before? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-Ferrari-360-challenge-stradale-engine-complete-5k-/140585567281?_trksid=m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D6578080431996201780#ht_3608wt_948 I wonder if that CS registry website has any stats?
Yeah that car has been on ebay for quite a while. Didnt 134675 use the body panels from this car to rebuilt it?
There a more than four currently for sale, but you're right, we're experiencing the lowest inventory figures in a long time. More than 65 is probably right. Handful have been totaled and parted out. That particular CS has been discussed. Another one a goner, what a shame.
That puppy was listed yesterday. Looks nice! It was for sale back in 2009 as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What about this one in F-Chat classifieds? 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale Factory Stripe 7400 miles
The dealer states one owner. Did it not sell in 2009? I wonder where the radar detector display is, i do not see it on the dash or steering column. Maybe it is installed on the dome light? Wonder if it comes with the oem stereo.
Just posted some pictures of my dad's car and thought this thread needed more pictures to encourage prospective buyers to bite the bullet! Also, I think TdF is a nice change of pace from the reds. Please excuse the poor photography. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
So is your "Dad's" car for sale? If so, can you post a link? Otherwise I'm confused by why the pics are here (don't get me wrong, TDF CS's are nice looking!)
No, it's not for sale. I just thought some people on the fence may need a little encouragement! Sorry to be off topic.
