I have always adored these cars. Frank, I recall seeing your gray car on the Alfa BB in 2007 when it was for sale in Canada. Thought this link on my website would be of interest. This car belonged to a friend of mine and is now in Europe supposedly getting restored: http://www.themotoringenthusiast.com/cars/featured/67qp

    Sadly, I didn't note the s/n.

Incidentally, I am looking for a reasonably nice AM107 QP I (ideally a series II in North America) if anyone knows of one for sale.

it is true my grey car 1448 did come out of Toronto. I found some papers with the car showing the owner in Canada.
I bought 1448 first then 034 came up so I ended up with two Quattroportes and a Ferrari 360 Spider
She runs out real strong and is a very nice driver. I have dialed it in on a dyno where it produced something like 230HP.
Not bad for an old car.
Note: In the front on photo, thats water under the car from rain, not from the car. it is a remarkably dry engine, ie no oil or water leaks. Very unusual for a Maserati of this type and age.
Let me know if you have an interest? I do plan to keep the Blue car number 034 that carries the number two body tag.

    Ciao,
    Frank

Check out my Maserati Museum thread. 012 should be in there. I can't confirm that Doug owns it, but I think he owns a lot of the cars in the collection.

I owned and enjoyed a Series I QP that I bought from Crepaldi in Milano in the mid-70s. I brought it back to Los Angeles where I eventually sold it. The car was white with beige leather. Unfortunately, I no longer have photos of the car and do not recall the serial number.

    Greetings all,
I am looking for a pair of headlight doors (surrounds, fascia whatever they are called) for a quad headlight 107. One of mine does not fit well and I think that it is incorrect. They MAY be the same as the Mexico, not positive.
Also, if I can find a reasonable priced one, could use an air intake plenum (the part on top of the carbs) as mine is damaged and in need of repair.
    TIA Regards Ian (107-1202)

Where are you, Qp 1 owners? I just took my car out of the garage for the first time in months. I bought it late last year and I have not had the opportunity to drive many miles yet. Instead I have been fixing things so that it is in perfect condition when the spring finally arrives.

I have the front seat re-uphostered and I will receive them next week. This weekend I put in new seat belts in the rear seat so the kids can travel safely.

The exterior color is Grigio Milano and the interior is "marrone". So in english that is grey metallic and brown :)

Hopefully it doesn't smoke quite as much as that car ...

Thank you! She's pretty for a 47 year old!

Great looking Q-Port. Very nice looking car. Is that new leather on the front seats? If so looks like a great color match. Enjoy your car this summer!
