Joe, Why did this car bring a number it did? Injected pre-annivarsario cars tend to bring way less usually...
My opinion only. I think it was a combo of things. Mainly it is not white, red, or black. It's the last car of its kind. Maybe the tweaks and the condition. I would have to say mainly the color. You gotta see it in person, it's real nice.
IF it really sold for that much, i would say the combination of special features, color, conditions it is not the average FI QV.... the only thing that looks strange to me is an euro buyer paid so much for an FI countach
Ive received several contacts regarding this car, and the merits of its not inconsiderable redeeming features! * Last-of-a-series car documented * Special livery ("Blu Miura" with white-and-blue interior) That's what is of real substance, but in Lamboland, special colors alone, or a last-of-a-series alone, can bring serious money. Lets not forget, the European buyer is paying a price which is equivalent to the average price of 2 nice downdraft Annivesario cars for sale in Europe right now, so its not so strange. Perhaps a little birdie tells me the German buyer has a Miura P400 in "Blu Miura" in his stable? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I dont think you are allowed to post full frontal shots of soapy water soaked bodies, us countach maniacs cant take it!!!
Nice car! please elaborate!! but no that is not the car. the other S has been converted too..(rolls)..... ANNIV trims!!!.. Yep!
I think it's the same car, the red rear fog light next to the right rear lights gives it away. Can't imagine there are two LHD red Countaches in the UK with same interior colour and rear fog light.
http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2012/2/25/Unique-of-the-Week-1989-Lamborghini-Countach-S-7707418/ I'm not a fan of white interiors but this is a gorgeous combo (more pics at above link)... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of the best looking Countachs, IMO, and I'm not a fan of the newer ones. Would look 10x better if it had the curved rockers.
Yeah yeah yeah, I remember Jack's garage behind the car. The cars pulled in the perimeter and there is a sunken man cave, right?
A true gentelman and car guy. I have not been to his house in Arkansas just the one up north here in northern California where I purchased his Renault from. All around great guy. Got a kick out of his garage, something out of Caesars palace!. Tried to get him to sell the Lambo but no go!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe a few days ago, Alberto asked about a company that restored magnesium rims. Enclosed, please find the link: http://www.panteraparts.com/ Pantera Parts Connection (NV).
