If your car is worth 300k to you, that is all that matter's. It is a great car, just better when you can get them for less than 200k. :)

About the only car holding value is the Ford GT supercar.....I bought mine at MSRP and they are selling at the same or above that value ( for the low mileage, perfect example cars). Believe we need to separate U.S and overseas prices.....in Brazil yes 250 thousand is realistic where taxes are 300 percent for the scud. U.S is a highly volatile market. Enjoy your car and don't worry about the U.S market...

They will get there eventually, happens to all the mid engined normal production volume models. Still have 8 years to go.

Factoring in miles and no stripe, it is a pretty good deal. 4k for the stripe deduct, and 15k for mileage. Not sure where to start with a 2009, but 195k to 200k is my estimate.

No if you start at 200k, it is within Rad's guidelines at 180k even, plus adds for alcantara upholstery and BATA wheel well covers. Add front bumper respray for any chips, red caliper conversion, service, and clear bra, and shipping to and from Bradan, should be around $7000 extra including shipping to and from Interstate. Pretty good deal IMO, and it will be fully ready to go.

I did not factor in PPI, but did factor in $1k for service through Bradan, which would also verify CC brakes, pads, and remaining clutch life. Only reason I didn't buy it was I wanted stripes.

is stripe "really" that important though for a $4k hit? I know myself are ok with or without stripe and wondering why the stripe is so important.

I have been using 1/2 retail value for high dollar options. For example, the US carbon package for 2008's was 20k retail, we use 10k for depreciated value. I guess you can figure the same for the stripe, 8k retail, 4k depreciated value.

If you heard the chatter on previous posts, most would want the stripe.....believe those cars that didn't have a stripe sat longer....to me a scud is just not complete without one.

This model has stayed true for 20 months. I have used it to help people in f-chat value their car sales/purchases. There have been a lot new Scuderia owners since last summer.

I don't think this car would reach $250k average on resale in the next 5 years, but if Ferrari screws up the 458 track day car (by doing a lame effort on weight reduction, and/or overpricing it), it would help the Scuderia prices to stay firm.

A car that has only depreciated in the last 20 months based on the miles driven on the last 20 months defeats the current economy. Scuderias purchased 20 months ago or later and barely driven by owners, are only carrying the ownership costs of 2 yearly services, insurance and registration. Good deal in my opinion.

    Base 08: $185k no miles
Base 08 + US Carbon package: $195k no miles
    Base 09: $205k no miles

    Black, Yellow: -$5k
    No Stripe: -$5k
Miles up to 10,000 miles: -$2/mile
    Miles over 10,000 miles: -$1/mile
Leather or Full Tech Fabric interior: -$5k
Silverstone, White (either Fuji or Avus): +$5k
    Nuovo Rosso F1: +$10k

Service records, multiple owners, re-spray, tire conditions, paint condition, Clutch life, CCB brakes life, wheel arch covers, aftermarket stereo, Ferrari Driving Experience, they all affect actual market value, so you set the baseline using the above information and work from there.

It would be nice if buyers from the last 20 months post here their purchase price, and the options, mileages, conditions on their cars at the time of purchase. It helps this pricing guide to stay updated.

I like everything but the yellow mesh in the seats. I think that could be changed out.

    Otherwise, pretty cool.

Yeah, it's not for me, but in a state like Florida, where bold is beautiful, would work perfectly. Or the L.A. area?

I am not too happy with you deducting 5k for my black 2009! :( After the Esoteric thread and Todd's detail, I would say you need to adjust it to +5k. :)

These number are right in line with my 08 Black Scud with US Carbon. I found this thread to be extremely useful when I was evaluating cars.

Matt; You really should find a support group. Nothing good can come by continuing to shop after you pull the trigger.

This is when you should be spending hours each day shopping for Mods. ...may I recommend the all carbon fuel option C8H18.
