Looks like a lot of people will be getting the Daytona seat option! :)

    Good marketing move!

You say this due to the blandness of the standard seats? If so, I agree.
I have rarely liked Ferrari's standard seats...nothing new IMO.

I'm with you Carlo. No doubt it will look even better in the flesh. Either way, that engine under the bonnet (hood for you stateside lads) will be pretty sweet!

Honestly, I expected a little more in the dash. The 458 has so much interesting detail. This seems pretty simple.

I do like the passenger LCD display like the FF.

It's definitely a more aggressive design than the 599 and it does mirror some of the 458's rear quarter panels. It has a real "muscle car" feeling as opposed to "sports car" feeling -- but maybe that's the purpose.

Just noticed the F1 style back LED back up light in the center. That is actually pretty cool. I can see that being copied a lot.

I absolutely love it but can't help myself from commenting a bit.
A Ferrari should have the styling inspired by the shape of a beautiful woman and the thong on the rear end of this one seems to confirm that inspiration......

It's got the exact same instrument cluster from the 458.

My general feeling is that this car is going to have extreme presence in the flesh. The reason I say that is the very aggressive front end, the lower body stance, the rather interesting curves on the side and rear 3/4, and the bizarre yet beautiful rear.

It's powerful looking without the usual cliches'.

I do agree with that. I have to see it in person though. The dash seems a bit understated for a car with this radical an exterior. The interior of a car should reflect the exterior.

However, you can go way overboard. The Aventador interior suffers from this.

The standard seats though are pretty puke-y. :)

I'm just surprised the stole so many items straight from the 458: Instrument cluster, steering wheel, screen display controls, radio controls, AC controls --- all directly lifted. A bit disappointing given the price of this car.

This car doesn't look like any Vette or Viper that I know of.

That is a good point. The only car I think it looks sort of like is the 599 and the 458. It looks like the two of them "got busy" and nine months later this popped out.

    That's pretty good company.

Also it amazing that the wheelbase is shorter than the 599 but in these pictures it looks longer.

Ok, if you had to pick and only one, what's it gonna be, 599 GTO or F12b? Forget resale value and availability. Which car would you rather have in your garage right now?

Not a big fan off the hood scoop, car looks a little squashed, dissapointed but will grow on it.

Happy to say the 458 is still the prettiest Ferrari lol.

The front looks fragile and the rear looks heavy (except in Bob's picture!). The side treatment with the huge indentation in the door completely spoils the design. It's like the car was sectioned horizontally and two different designs were stuck together. The top half is great with those softly peaked front fenders and the way they trail back to the drivers door is similar to the Pininfarina Rossa. The hood treatment plus the fast back style rear window certainly work and the GTB style lights and spoiler have a familiar look. However the bottom half of the car fails miserably; most especially the door design. Massive fail there. It's like they took what they though were the best of two different designs and stuck them together.

I like the fact that the F12b is a bit smaller than the GTO; definitely will help placing the car better on the road.

I assume speed wise etc is all the same, give or take a few tenths.

I prefer the rear end more of the GTO. For now I'll say I'll choose the F12b!

Wow I really disagree with the side scoop and door comments. It's rather innovative and very creative. To get the inverted scoop to line up to the positive curved rear panels is a pretty amazing design detail that I'm sure pays off in spades in person -- as well as these photos.
