The launch of the new F car, the F12Berlinetta has finally been unveiled on the Ferrari website. It certainly has some power - 740 CV with 690 Nm of torque! The images are not too different to whats been floating around the net either. Top speed over 340 km/hr and 0-100 km/hr just 3.1 seconds. Boy there sure is a lot going on. The overall proportions look good, low, wide and swept back. But at first glance, that highlight line on the side appears to be pretty wide and heavy. -F
I think the car looks better than the first images promised. Nevertheless a finally judgement is just possible after seeing the car in real.
Proportions look really nice. There are a few retro cues I can see integrated which I like. Like it more than i did when i first saw the 599 when it launced. But as said will have to save final judgement unil it's seen in metal.
What is the thing that looks like a keypad in the middle of the back end? Image Unavailable, Please Login
i know on the F1 car it serves as a brake light and flashes during wet races. however, what function does it serve on the F12.....aesthetic?

Ummmm.. yah! I think it's pretty cool. So is the silly steering wheel with all the buttons. It's silly but it's still cool. Actually, it's the white back up lights functionally.
Well, it serves the same purpose. It lights up when you turn on the rear fog light. PS: On the F1 car it is not connected to the brakes. It is just for visibility reasons and flashes constantly. But I believe that you meant the same thing.
this video really shows off how beautiful the car is!![/QUOTE] Check out the wheels in this video. They are really cool! Also, McLaren's going to be upset with the rear view mirrors. They somewhat mimic the 12C.
