How much for the "impress my friends" module, and how much to boost indicated speed by 20% to impress them more :)

I like the idea but I doubt many will select it unless they are really into getting a full option car.

I can see a cop stopping you for speeding. He asks you "do you how fast were you going?" and you say "no". Then, the wife speaks up and says "107. I saw it right here!"

Well.. I think this photo is just awesome. It's unique, beautiful, and full of interesting and well designed details.

    Hail.

I couldn't agree more. A truly elegant and timeless design.

    Dude...

I get it: you're a helpless, shameless booster; you won't meet a Montezemolo turd you can't exalt.

Some kin, no doubt, owns a Sino-Russian dealership, and surface "details" may be a la mode; but, "beautiful"?

...You disrespect the Ferrari-PininFarina design history with your dogmatic scraping flatteries.

And so, the bad, rude Opus returns.

Where have you been? :). You've been missed.

I think we went through this before but my name is not "dude".

    It's Mr Dude. :)

Pretty amazing sculpture of an automobile. I was remarking to someone just yesterday about the most disastrous hind quarters I could imagine, the C-5 corvette, like they drew a blank and decided to go with it. This is the antithesis. Stunning detail, enthralling. You don't have to love it to marvel in it. But I in fact do love it. I stick to my first response in silver, tip to stern, I'm in love with this car. My only regret is that it will be at least half a decade before I have the privilege of owning one, if I'm lucky. It is now my goal. I've never had a goal to own a particular car, something off in the future. This isn't shopping, but quest.

i'm more than convinced that the exterior is design by Pininfarina...Manzoni is a good designer, but for interiors. Here in italy i heard that Pininfarina is still leading the design otherwise it would impossible for the style center ferrari to come out with nice car.

Unfortunately this is the road Motezemolo has been taking Ferrari on, the cars (with VERY few exceptions) are in reality overpriced Fiats!

You don’t look at the new Ferraris and say “Wow look at that Ferrari” you say “look at that car with the Ferrari badge on it”.

I imagine the car design magazines (Auto & Design) will give an insight on how the process worked between the two design teams.

God that looks like the face of an ant!!!

I like the idea of trying to incorporate a vertical F1 element but it just looks out of proportion.

I enjoy many a year's production more than the shock of the new, but, still . . . Life is too short & sadly, you haven't changed much.

    As a courtesy to you and our fellow Members, I'm going to repeat the advice you were given by another, albeit, former moderator [who quite recently queried about something being left on your front doorstep] on July 29, 2009 when you were banned for a mere 48 hours after you took shots at the Japanese, Italians and anyone else who got in your way;

Clean up your act, play better with others or go find a new sandbox.

    Add Me to that!

I don't recall ever looking at any Ferrari ever and saying: “look at that car with the Ferrari badge on it”

(Crappy, plastic replica's based on Toyota's and fiero's on the other hand then yes, especially when others are around who think it's a genuine Ferrari. Great fun can be had pointing out why it isn't a genuine Ferrari, especially if the owners around at the time).

As for the F12, I suspect it probably looks a lot better in the metal than in the pictures to be honest.

However, I'm struggling to like the alloy bracket that comes down from the dashboard to between the seats, it looks too much like an after thought (and dare I say it, a bit kit car'ish), and the air con control looks like it's doing an impression of a 1970's twin knob radio! (see here: http://cdn.images.autocar.co.uk/612x408FFFFFFF/Car/Ferrari/Ferrari-29212121237557231280x849.jpg ).

Surely that could have been integrated/executed a bit better than it has?

It's a busy recycling of the previously unique design of the rear of the Alfa 8C Competizione, including the "shoulders", lights and exhausts.

While sometimes technically impressive, the cars from Maranello have been derivative since LdM took over. That's not say the F12 is ugly -- I think it's a splash of cold water after the snoozefest 599. But it's more a competent design than an important one, which is disappointing in what was really a cost-no-object car.

Beyond both having round tail lights, I don't see that at all.

I think it looks quite good overall. Not crazy about the tail end, but what is the square with 12 Dots on it? Is that functional or just a styling cue?

At the end of the day, if I had the $$ to buy one new I would!

There's quad exhausts, a badge and a number plate too!

(Asides from that, I'm with you completely - the rear ends are uncannily dissimilar!)

I reckon that's a foul weather F1 type LED marker.
