Ok... it's less than 2 weeks before the start of the season. Time to take a stand.

Where will Ferrari be at the end of the race?

At least 1 car up to 5th, I could care less which driver. Beyond that off the podium no matter.

I'm not confident both cars will make Q3. :(

What are the tire rules for quali / race this year? Are race sets used up during quali as last year?

    I'll go 7th / 11th at the finish.

I actually think some will be surprised a bit. They won't be winners, but I'm predicting 4th and 6th. I think they'll slide and go down hill as the season goes on though.

The first race will be like testing so I'll save my opinion for the 2nd race, safer like that.

While I don't think the above will be the case (would be neat if it were!), I have no problem saying Red Bull will not win or look as handy as they have been the past two years at any track let alone Australia.

Hopefully one of the F cars will get a podium finish. I look forward to seeing how the development went this winter and look forward to a closer season than last year.

Do I get something if I nail it?

    1st: Vettel.
    2nd: Button.
    3rd: Hamilton.
4th: one of our guys, by fluke.

Webber and the Mercedes: DNF. They always run fast but mess things up somehow.

But hey, a few years ago Eddie Irvine won there: anything can happen in Melbourne.

Ferrari does not think they will podium the first few races, so why should anyone else? They will be lucky to have one car in the top 5.

I watched an interview with Fry yesterday evening. I will dig up the link to it, but the interview was done after all testing completed. When pushed regarding if the new Ferrari has a fundamental flaw or if it is a quick fix he politely answered (after a pause) it was too soon to tell. Fry also implied they have been working for the past two weeks on other exhaust solutions. I'm guessing by the second or third race we will see those heavily updated sidepods.

Until then, my best guess for Australia is:

    Hamilton
    Vettel
    Schumacher
    Rosberg
    Button
    Webber
    Raikkonen
    Grosjean
    Alonso
    Kobayashi
    Hulkenberg
    Diresta
    Massa
    Senna

There's your fantasy entry right there! ;)

OK, you can't afford all the top guys/cars/motors but you get my point! :D

I will now officially STFU before I get banned for trolling.

    Cheers,
    Ian
