Your heater should be much more effective than that. Possibly it is clogged up with gunk. When I had my water pump seal, overflow tank and hoses replaced, I also had the radiator and heater core flushed out. I was told that there was a ton of "gunk" in the heater core and it does seem to be toastier now, even when I have driven it with ambient temperatures in the low 20's.

I still have the auto levelers.
Yours looks just like mine with me just out of it and a load of junk from the trunk recently removed.

How do the new coil overs work? Do you mind telling us the specifics of what you installed?

    Thanks

The car handles well, roll significantly reduced and the Citroën-ish feeling when opening up throttle -all gone!
Difficult to describe, but general feeling is that car's weight is reduced a whole lot. -My car felt "heavy" before -especially with my teenagers in the back.

The coilovers are supposed to replace the originals after getting self nivellers refurbished, and are the Koni Classics 82 1825SP2.
I will do some experimenting -placing the new konis fwd and put back the old auto nivellers and see what that does to the height.

Maybe this should be a separate thread ? -as intention was not to hijack the very nice OP thread.

...just a bit too high for my taste. Takes some of the elegance off the beauty.
It's not the original paint, is it?

That's how I like it (don't look at the tyres, these are replaced meanwhile with wonderful Vredestein Sprint Classics, with vintage profile):

EDIT: a new thread would be nice.

No -original color is Bruno Acajou.
(painted red by previous owner from Blu Dino)
Will restore bodywork and revert to original color, but getting my -77 308GTB on the road is prioritized at the moment.

I've tried a bunch of times and have never been able to do it. It is supposed to be possible if you're using Tapatalk but I can't confirm that.

I've been working at our ranch every free minute since the end of December and haven't been on much let alone had a chance to go for many drives. I've been putting in a few miles of horse fencing which I notice none of you guys offerred to help with. :)
But spring is here and maybe my time will free up some. I hear the road calling my name.

Hi Harald. Two questions: How did you lower the ride height in the rear? I would switch to these Konis if they give me the ride height you've got now.

#2: What is your exhaust system? Stock resonators and mufflers, or resonators removed? (I guess that's three questions.)

Exhaust is standard setup with resonators and mufflers, all stainless.

Regarding previous picture with correct ride height, I'm using new coilovers and old hydrodampers while I'm working out a plan because:
To lower the coil-overs, metal work needed -my plan is as follows: New coil-overs have separate spring retainers with enough material to take away 5mm at bottom and at top.
The old ones have lower retainer welded to body -so not much to do there, not much material in top retainer either, so on those I will fabricate new redesigned lock-halves that hopefully will give 10mm at top.
My hope is that this will be enough to lower the car 25mm at wheelarch.

Right now -weather is too good to have the car jacked up on stands :)
