I saw a CTS-V wagon on Wilshire in Santa Monica this morning. looked good (it was silver, I think they look best in black). sounded great.
I thought the original Allroad only came to the US because at the time they didn't have a proper SUV. now they have two... but I agree, the RS6 would be badass. *sigh...*
I thought they're not selling you the RS6 because a) Not enough demand (strange, I see lots of potential buyers) b) It's possibly too expensive compared to E63 and M5, but then again people are standing in line for Turbo Panameras...

I see a black one with black wheels and yellow calipers sometimes and it looks awesome. That looks good!
Speaking of the RS4 Avant... http://www.autoblog.com/2012/02/14/2012-audi-rs4-avant-leaks-out/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sigh. I've posted in this thread already about my 2007 S4 Avant; we were considering trading for a 2010 S4 Avant, until Audi Canada (North America) decided not to bring them over. Right now, Audi makes nothing that would replace the S4 Avant, and neither does anyone else! (V8, manual trans, AWD) I suspect I could be persuaded to live with a DSG trans if it was in my very own RS4 Avant, however...
This was the V wagon they had at the car show. I'd sell my brother into slavery to get one of these beasts. Image Unavailable, Please Login

This is the Chevy Impala wagon we had when I was a kid. I think it was a 1974... It was green inside, too! Image Unavailable, Please Login
The huge mirrors still look wrong to me but oh my the rest makes up for it: http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/16/mercedes-benz-cls63-amg-shooting-brake-is-the-one-we-want/ photo gallery Image Unavailable, Please Login

One of the coolest wagons ever. The tailgate disappears under the cargo floor, and the glass disappears in the roof. Cargo area will easily swallow a dozen 4'X8' sheets of plywood with the seats down, and it will haul 9 people comfortably with all three seat up. With the optional roof container and cushions, you can travel and sleep in the thing. Shiny Side Up! Bill
