    Never thought those words word exit my brain but the Velocity Channel folks asked me to blog about my upcoming trip to the Amelia Island concours. It should be lots of fun.

    Here's my first entry: Road Trip! Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance Bound - Velocity

    I started off with around 1200 words but was told to keep it short and sweet. So I'll follow those conventions.

    I will start pumping out some more content on Friday when my trip gets into full swing. I'm doing some filming for Velocity at the Amelia Concours for potential use on the web and the channel so wish me luck! Saturday is when the real stuff starts to happen.

    It will be an interesting to say the least. I'll have to tread carefully since its a corporate blog beholden to ratings and sponsors. Its not like I can go all Clarkson on it. ; )

    not about auctions but please blog that velocity shows are a joke. they try to cater to general audience who have no interest in cars and do not watch regardless. then bc the shows are dumbed down, the enthusiast audience tunes out also. so no one watches. autoweek vinsetta garage is prime example. huge disappointment. adam corolla and american topgear also come to mind.

    an excellent american show i saw recently was on the web - motortrends downshift show about top 11 cars of 2011. was great and would be hit on velocity
