    I finally did it!
After many years of dreaming i bought my first Ferrari :)
I was actually looking for a 360 or 430 Spider but i ended up buying a Challenge Stradale!
After test driving the former, i have to say i wasn't really overwhelmed by the experience, i had a feeling something was missing, it felt too comfortable, too easy to drive,...
So since my dealer also had this very nice Rosso Corsa CS for sale, i wondered, would this CS be more the car for me?
A berlinetta versus a spider, this latter originally being a must for me as i'm a real spider guy.
I arranged a test drive and now i'm very glad i did!
After driving it, i immediately knew it, i just had to get this CS.
It really is a great car for me, so poised in every way, just perfect!
The noise, steering, handling, rawness,... i can't even describe the feeling this car gives you!
There's just something about it that i couldn't sense in a 360 or 430 (never drove a Scuderia or 16M though)
A Scuderia 16M Spider would probably be the best car for me, but then i have to sell the house first! :D
With the CS i might gonna miss the spider feeling but for those moments i decided to still keep my Honda S2000 which i still love driving and reving up to 9.000rpm :)

I already bought the car 6th december (2011) but could only pick it up two days ago, which was a very long wait  !!

Enough time wasted, i'm off for a spin!!! :)

Congratulations!! Drive in good health. I especially like your garage, Yellow walls, dark grey tile floors, and a nice glass display. Most garages look like, well a garage. Yours looks more like a showroom. I just redid mine, and when I have a few min I will start a garage thread.

Find new wife/girlfriend, or rent one ;) Cars just cant be better. FYI your screen name has "pooh" in it, and if HK stands for Hong Kong, its maybe even a bit more funny.

What do you think of it relative to the S2000...that little Honda might just be the most fun car I've ever driven! Kinda has a 1/2 Ferrari V8 in it!

Thanks all for the kind words!
I seriously love this car! I can't stop from going into the garage just to look at it! :D

The nice 328 GTS in one of the pictures is from my best friend (alx355gt, also member here) who gave me a lift to the dealer, some 150kms from my home. He took it out of his winter storage just to help me pick up my car. I won't forget this my friend!!
The drive home was big fun, we made some detours for some tunnels! ;)

Thanks Mike, i don't think you got my CS on your site yet, it actually is original a French car, but i don't see it on your registry, i'll PM you the details later.

Yeah, i also didn't want it to look like "well a garage", but it's still not finished though, need to put some pictures and signs on the walls. Looking forward to seeing yours!

What can i say, my S2000 is one of the first series (the best :D ), i just bought a CS and still i don't sell the "little Honda". I like driving it so much, i just can't sell it!
Of course, the CS is ALOT faster, prettier,... but like you say, it is just so much fun reving that engine up to 9000rpm all day long, driving some twisty roads or track :)
For me the CS and S2000 is just the perfect pair, both are pretty hardcore sportscars, the one is just more expensive and faster then the other :p

I agree. I had a s2k and loved it! Tons of fun and you do not feel bad taking it to the red line every time you drive it.

Thanks stokpro, i've read most of the CS market thread, it's amazing to see how many people adore this model, even F40 owners!
It almost has a cult status! :)

Went through a similar experience when looking for a 430 Spider. Before buying and just for the hell of it I drove a Scud and the rest is history. Never looked back.

    Enjoy it.

I love the S2000 as well. I have an original one and a S2000 CR. More HP per liter than the Ferrari. I need to try out a CS. Good choice in both cars.

Took the car for a drive again today, damn, it's like a drug and i'm addicted!! :)
At first i thought i was gonna miss a radio since mine doesn't have one... no way i'm ever gonna miss a radio, it only adds weight and the best music comes from the back ;)
But it sure does drag some attention!
    Tomorrow i'm out again!! :)
