I've attached the interview below. He gets chocked up and very emotionally personal around 6:15. He could have held out to become the top payed running back in the league. He's certainly earned it. But he took $10mm less to stay here and instead of holding out, accepted the deal. He already had my respect, but after this interview, even more. When he was asked about his salary in the past and he always said it will come with time and he knew he had to prove himself. Keep in mind he was only in the six-figures and having two 1000+ seasons. http://houston.cbslocal.com/2012/03/06/arian-foster-gets-emotional/
I have not looked at this one, but I did see the one where he was at the airport and some exec was whining about his limo being late, and Arian was saying 'why are you whining, some people don't even HAVE a car'. He seems incredibly grounded, wish more were like him. We should come up with a 'selfless' team, Arian would be on it, Howie Long was just an incredible guy to talk to back when he played, so was Walter Payton. And we could come up with an 'all jackass' team, I can easily name a few guys that would be on it.
At the end of the playoff game in Baltimore, he (Foster) was on the sideline cheering on the defense, as the last few minutes began to wind down. Go Texans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
