Beautiful!
I thought this seemed familiar....what a shame for either car. Quote 1 is from post #12154, dated 3-9-12, (pg608) grey anni. hit in the nose. *********** Quote 2 is from post #9314, dated 4-8-11 (pg.466) red anni. hit in the nose. ***********
Awesome countach Geno.. will the rear bumper be on when you show it? What did you decide to do about it... you seemed to be up in the air before...
Love the car Geno... You no the more and more I drive mine, the more and more I cant ever seeing it being gone out of my life, truly lucky to have one of these.
Congratulations. It will be in good company there That is such a cool laid-back event and Margaret & I enjoyed showing 1121038 & the Last USA F40 built there last year. Kenqv already asked the obvious question about that rear bumper. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Indeed! I daresay Chris can actually drive a Countach they way it was intended to be driven, so Harry should have known it would be sideways when he tossed him the keys Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Piece in Octane last year testing 80s Supercars for acceleration. Magazines these days must be hard up for material. Pitting a Countach against an F40? Really? Nevertheless it made for good entertainment. I'd actually gone off to get lunch for everyone on the shoot when Chris was doing this, so I didn't know he's nicked my car until I saw the designer laying out the pages in the office the following week . As you say Joe, I should have known better..
Just for fun....Counterpoint: He sure was being hard on the clutch as you can hear him slipping it, and I'd like to see him do all that on a dry road... then I'd be more impressed!
It's is a good time with a very wide range of automobile art on display. It was nice to see you and your family there...
Roy I know what you mean. You are a "driver" at heart so coming from you after the array of fine cars you've driven over the years really means a lot. It's defiantly NOT like driving any thing else out there...
I know...have not got around adjusting them. Just found out from a Countach guru the easy way to get the mirros adjusted...
Alberto, Joe is correct! Sorry it didn't come across in my original post. I should say the location of this photo shoot is regularly visited by all UK motoring magazines because of this up-hill, nicely cambered corner. I'd be much more impressed once we can get a shot of a properly loaded up, drifting Countach but I suspect that will take a circuit and a bag of brave pills to nail properly..
