Project X - I can't believe I took a date to this, btw she chose it. I did however like "lotsa boobies in the pool scene."

 

Act of Valor. Awesome.

 

A Thousand Words - Good moral/ message to the story but thats it. Wait for it on DVD.

 

Just finished watching Midnight Express...yikes.

I can't imagine what possessed Anthony Hopkins and Rene Russo to get involved in this turkey.

Portman's performance was less than impressive.

 

I often wonder that, for instance all the super talents wasted in "Meet the fockers".

Then again IIRC Steve Martin once said that he did some movies just because he wanted to acquire another artwork for his (impressive) collection.

I suppose every stinker movie pays somebody's way through college or somebody's vacation home/lear jet/250 GTO.

 

Captain America...kind of long and boring.

 

Johnny English: Reborn

As assumed it's a braindead movie for family nights. Couple of funny scenes, most of them "trying too hard to appear funny".

 

John Carter, this afternoon.

Not bad at all. Had a coherent storyline, good cast and special effects.

Compared to the putrid remake of Conan the Barbarian, Carter is excellent for the big budget fantasy/action genre.

 

I read some crappy reviews but from the previews it looks great!

Movie critics are a waste of space.

 

Professional critics of anything do tend to get lost in their own head spaces and miss the big picture; movie and book critics are the worst. IMO, they're way off a good 50% of the time.

 

Columbiana not bad. Chick was hot

 

21 Jump Street - Better than I expected. This was really funny.

 

Yep!! Being a movie critic is like being a weather forecaster.

 

Warrior. UFC/MMA movie. Simple, full of action. I just didn't like the ending. 7/10

 

And I'll chime in with the opposite opinion. Didn't laugh once during The Hangover, but laughed my ass off at Bridesmaids. Go figure.

 

Warrior. Wasn't bad just overly dramatic.

 

She used to be hot. Way too skinny now. Even my wife commented about her breasts disappearing.

It takes its time but noverall pretty good. B+

 

They belong on the list, for sure.

Senna. Loved it, especially the vintage footage.

 

Nowhere near as hot as she way in the commercials she did for Calvin Klein (search "zoe saldana calvin klein" on YouTube. She talks about her imperfections . . . WHERE?!)
