    I did not have the opportunity to photograph Frank Sinatra's Ghibli although it was parked closed to my car. Perhaps someone can post photos.

    It was a busy day with tons of people and great cars. Similar to Pebble Beach last year the Ferrari GTO was a featured. At Pebble the GTOs were roped off, at Amelia you could wander around the cars, look inside and talk to the owners.

    #4503 is -IMO- together with #4506/ex-4505 the most important 450S.

    Although very original, #4503 unfortunately lost its beautiful lines due to the hard life the car had in the 50s.

    I've never heard the 450s referred to as beautiful before ... how times change. It was originally a untameable brute.

    Personally the 200SI is prettier.

    I wonder if people really know what they are voting for? :)

    I find #4503 a beautiful car when in Sebring 1957 with Fangio.
    Later cars lost that very well balanced lines and became more brutish & bulky.

    Great achievement Ivan, and well deserved after all the painstaking work!

    The 450 is of course quite spectacular, but I have to agree with Walter, something seems to have been lost. Is it the front of it?

    As an aside, does anyone know where 4509 is?

    Yep, the nose is now shorter than in Sebring `57.

    #4509 is still in the USA, owned by someone on the East Coast. Its together with #4502 and #4506/ex-4505 (which has not its matching-no. engine fitted!) the most original 450S in existance.

    Very much agreed Walter. This looks more like a 300s or a 200s with a V8 than the bulky-ish 450s look.

    Nice car although the nose should be restored to the original shape. Here is a photo I took of it at the Sebring 2002 race. I have a bunch of color photos from the 1957 Sebring race of this car. Alot of details are wrong on this restoration. You should not win a concours unless your car is restored correctly, unless it was just a peoples choice award.

    I investigated the car some years ago in Monaco when the owner B.M. drove it in the hist. GP which was quite a funny idea...!

    Yep, the car is wrong in many details due to the resto in Italy many moons ago. At that time the restoration-standart was much different than is today.

    Yes, many color photos of the car from Sebring `57 are available.
