    --And you know the thing is, Ferrari could still finish on the podium in Australia. Odd things happen in street races, especially street races at the beginning of the season where reliability is unproven and replacement parts are in short supply. And if Mark Webber can score a 5th place in a wheezing Minardi that was four seconds off the pace, there's no reason to doubt that another former Minardi driver, Fernando Alonso, couldn't use his considerable willpower to drag the F2012 into the big points.--

    I can hear the 2 seater F1 car going around the track. It's pouring with rain, and has been all night. I feel sorry for the driver and the corporate/paying passengers!!

    Popularity contest...

    apparently the lines for the drivers' autographs were very long for Mercedes, Red Bull and McLaren. The line for Ferrari wasn't very long at all, which surprised me. Massa looked like his pet dog had just died.

    Most people walked straight past Nico to get Michael's autograph...no surprise there I guess.

    Macca and MB are bringing the speed. Red Bull are having rear tire issues and straight line speed issues. That being said, I'm sure at least 1 of the Red Bulls will be in the top 4, but the rest will be Mcl and MB
