Hi! I'm a Mid-Atlantic area Fchatter, I'm located right outside DC in Reston, VA. I'm looking to possibly purchase a 98' E36 M3 located right outside the Heights area in Houston which I'm definitely not familiar with. Anyone live close by and possibly interested in going to check out the car for me and report back? PM me if you are. I'm interested to find out if it's as "immaculate" as the seller says and how it drives.

Along with being a Ferrari enthusiast if you are BMW enthusiast too and are familiar with Advantage BMW Midtown let me know! That's the dealership the seller has reccommend, that is closest to the car, for a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection).

Here's the thread I started on the Mid-Atlantic area

    Thanks for the help,

Just purchased an 05 E46 Competition from Advantage Midtown. Great staff, good prices, no story.
I had a tire pressure issue; went in today, didn't wait, got out with my problem solved in less than 30min.
The shop is very clean and impressive with 30+ lifts, and they see are well organized.

    My 2cents. Good luck!

I'd be weary of buying a car from Houston area b/c of possible Katrina flood cars.

PPI will determine if it was flooded or not. No problem there. If you are worry about it, you have Carfax report, and can ask Advantage to do the 1st full maintenance and provide some kind of warranty behind it...

I looked at the car. It is very clean and has only been in Houston for a few months.

Katrina was a LONG time ago, and it was in New Orleans, that's not Houston.

Besides, it's not called "The Heaights" for nthing....LOL!

    I live there too!
PM me if I can help.

European Cars on Feagan are old friends of mine they can do a PPI, one would think
    I'll call Phil Lightfoot.

Edit: Just realized this thread is FIVE years OLD!
