No offense to the seller, because it's obviously a great car. But, for a 600k car I would want to see a little info and some better pictures, even if it's probably on ebay for exposure alone.

$600K for an F40 is rather optimistic but what do i know.

 

I believe Napolis once said that these cars are all valued at what someone is willing to pay for them.

He probably put the price high to see what he can get for it.

 

usa models tend to price higher since there were fewer of that specification.

mine is a '90 but my seats look different than these. are these standard for usa models?

 

Are there better examples for less money?

 

Anyone else notice something odd with the "Sales Hours"?

Chassis number 87144 is indeed a 1990 USA F40, the 84th example built. I don't have any specific history otherwise.

 

Yes those are USA spec seats.

The TR & F50 were both owned by Jim Spiro when imaged in front of the shop.

I don't know that specific car personally but I do know the seller byercorp quite well, have bought many cars from him, including my 40 and 50. He also deals quite a bit in Rolls Royce.

i wldnt sell mine at 600 today...but im emotional about my stuff...

 

Looks like a nice, clean, unmolested car from the pictures.

 

It certainly looks that way.

I notice however that this car has the '"fabric separation" that afflicts some car's seats making it wrinkled rather than smooth, if you know what I mean. The adhesive disintegrates over time and the Nomex separates from the foam... easy fix though.
