Hello great pics, I get the V6 Buick wild cat engine in the Lola but is that a Porsche sticker on the side?
1st Ford EVER in our Family since my Dad's first car which was a 1927 model T. My Brother shows up with his new Shelby. We thought Dad would promptly write him out of the will, but instead 78 year old Dad challenged him to a race this spring. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My 1967 Camaro RS, originally started as a Bolero red 210 HP 327 w/ Powerglide. I bought it twenty years ago, the PO had replaced the 327 with a 350, and I swapped in a turbo 350. A good friend is a Camaro restoration expert, and so we started a few years ago rebuilding her. Originally I built a ZZ430 clone but when GMPP reissued the ZL1 aluminium block, I bought one and had a local shop build the engine. She now sports the ZL1 427, M-20 4 speed, 12 bolt rear w/ 3:52 rear gear, and the JL8 equivalent 4 wheel disc brake setup. I had the big Baer brakes on her but could not find a 17 inch tire and wheel setup I liked, so I bought the JL8 set and Cragar S/S 15X7 front, 15X8 rear. She's almost done and I'll be showing her at the Sacramento Autorama in February. Image Unavailable, Please Login
^^^ Looks like a fun car. While we're on Camaros, just for the heck of it, this was my Mom's car in 67-75. Red/red SS/RS 350 with air, ps, pt, pw, posi, discs, red lines, at, delux int, head rests, fold down rear, luggage rack, bumper guards and I'm sure a few other things. Was a GM exec car for 6 months then made avail to employees so Dad bought it. The guy who bought it from them totalled it before he even got the title change done. 66 Toronado in the driveway. This car is the one that started my love affair with automobiles, and I've had 19 1st gen Camaros since. Image Unavailable, Please Login

My thanks to Mike Seals who actually pointed the way to this American Muscle Thread from the thread: "Post Your Pet Picture" and his desire to know more about the Ford GT. He asked that I add a couple of shots of a car that I attached to the Pet Post. After going through the entire American Muscle thread and enjoying the cars along with the tanks in the line up, thought I would add our collection of AM. The first car: 1963 Corvette Coupe or better known as the "Split Window Coupe." This is Saddle Tan/Saddle Tan interior, 327/340Hp, 4 Speed, originally shipped to Marion, Indiana. Then the last shot shows the majority of the cars. In the foreground; '62 Vette 340Hp/4 Speed, our first date car and owned by me since Nov. of '70, Roman Red/Red interior . Next is the '63 SWC. Then the '65 Vette Big Block Coupe, 396/425Hp/4 Speed, Rally Red/White Leather interior. The last in the line up of the chrome era cars; '57 T-Bird, E-Code (Dual Quads) 3 Speed manual with OD and both tops, Gun-Metal Gray/Red interior. Interesting car: Always owned in WA state and I am the 7th owner with previous owner keeping it for 40+ years (was a ton of fun to buy this car). Background is the '05 FGT, '99 355 F-1 GTS, '92 C-2 Cab which I purchased new. A fun collection and we both enjoy driving them all. Very cool! I used to have a 2DHT. I dropped a 409 bored and stroked to 482 with a Lamar Walden kit, 2X4bbls and a roller cam. I jerked a nice second gear once and pulled the rear left lower control arm bracket off the frame! Shiny Side Up! Bill
CSX refers to all shelby identified vin tags. The Cobra has a CSX, the Series 1 has a CSX, continuation chassis have CSX etc. etc. Nice photo though
This is my 1974 AMC Javelin. It came from the factory in Maxi Blue with a blue interior, 727 Torque Command auto transmission, and a 401 V8. I am the second official owner. The AMX spoiler and hood were added by the first man at some point. My boyfriend let me have the car for nothing, provided I found all the parts he had taken out. I did, and while it still needs a full restoration, it is still fun to drive. The 401 I found has been removed due to a broken valve, and a donor 360 is in there for now. www.maxiblue.homestead.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
