Just to let you guys know that I have had my seat covers redone. I found a shop that was specialized in Jaguar and Mercedes and some Porsche. I inquired and he was willing to try doing them if I would send my seatcovers to make a template. Before doing it I had read the testimonials he had from all around the world and all where very good words. They are now done and he sent me pictures of them today and they look very good. His prices are going to be well below the Ferrari parts guys who are selling them. I'll keep you posted and try to send pictures after they are installed.

I'll let you know the price as soon as he tell me his retail. He did a special price to me to help him enter a new market using my seat as his first pattern. I was charged material only. He should be back to me with his retail price soon and I will tell you and give you his info.

He sent me the email with his retail price. WOW what a deal. $995 for the full kit w/o the back cover. This is for the 1976 to 1980 models. Compare this with any other on the market that are between $2000 and $3000 and that is a steal. This is for pair of bottom covers, backrest covers and headrest. He confirmed that they are made of original (Connolly/Autolux) leather. He is willing to work any other model variation and other cars with the help of the owner to use his seats as a pattern. From my actual experience with him he is a very nice guy. Very easy communication by email with fast reply. Also by the time he told me he received my original covers and he sent me the pictures of finished product there has been not more than a week and a half. I hope this can help some of you guys. Let me know if you want his name and contact info.

So are these covers that you out over the seats or are they "skins" that you take to an upholstery shop to have them install as new upholstry?

Yea, this looks great as does the price. I assume he can just do solids as well or piping. Do you post his contact info etc above? (perhaps I missed)

Ok, here is what he told me. Yes he can do other style IF you supply your old skin to use as a pattern. Like he did with mine. He now has a pattern for future customers. The actual $995 is for the early style like mine. QV style would probably be close in pricing can't tell without seeing them first. Honnestly I do not expect a big difference as they are almost the same seats but only him can tell. But anyway will be much less than what is offered on he market. He is entering a new market with the Ferrari and want to be good with people that can help him like I did with my seat. He is in the Los Angeles area and Ferrari owners that are interrested in stopping by his shop to help him take pictures and measures are welcome. He needs template for all other style if you can help. He said prices will be set with each style after completion.

For HUSKERBILL, these are original style skins that you have to install after removing the original ones. Not the slip over cheap style.

I want to say that I have no interrest in this business, I just want to share what I'm happy to have found if it can help others.

If you try to contact him make sure to ask for VIC. If he's not there leave a message and he'll call you back. He reply to emails quite fast from my experience.

I haven't finish them yet. I have one bottom done that I'm happy with. My picture is not very nice. Vic is also doing my Mondial seats right now and he is installing them too. I will post more pictures when all done.

    Thanks for the lead Claude!!

Just shipped mine to Vic for the full boat. Very nice guy and easy to work with.

He said it would be about a 3 week turn from the time he receives them.
