That's right! It will suggest that it offers all the experience and thumbs up but at a fraction of the cost.

Whats sad is that, at any given time, there are more Diablo replicas on Ebay than real ones. Ive seen them outnumber the real ones by a 6/1 ratio. A lot.
    That's crazy to me.

Based on that, one could assume that most "Diablos" you see on the road are fakes.

    Crazy.

Just cross referenced the part number and found that a Pontiac grand prix kit is the same.

So don't tire kick...just pull the trigger!!!

No need to worry, the ratio of kits to actually completed kit cars is around 2-5%. Only a VERY small amount of these kit cars every make it to the road, and even fewer last long enough without falling apart. I use to spend a lot of time on the Replica Forums until it became obvious that if you want to make a really good kit you will end up signing checks that are in the 55-70K range.......not a good plan to me.

Thats true. And the owners of those cars are not the type to keep them in running order log term. These are usually the type of cars that break down and then end up sitting on blocks in the backyard under a tarp till they get hauled away as junk.

You are right about the percentage of cars that actually are completed and make it through the DMV.

Just as most exotic fans (non owners) are "dreamers" instead of "doers", the cars are bought as a dream and never get finished.
